voraciousreader - Where have you been? I sure missed seeing you here. I hope life is once again good for everyone.
ellenquilt - I second that one!
-
If this fire becomes a political one WATCH OUT WORLD!!!!!!!!
-
I'd like to throw the women who flirted with my husband while I was on chemo and the "old Friend" who goes to estate auctions who brought me presents hoping I would "leave her something".......I"M STILL HERE almost nine years later and they are going into the fire!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Maywin - Really? Those women definitely need to go into the fire and I hope they burn very slowly. I can't believe someone would do that.
-
Ellenquilt--------please put those congress people someplace else besides the HEN HOUSE. It's reserved for us Mother Cluckers only. BRAWGKKKKK. Come join us on OMG THEY FOUND A CURE FOR STUPID. It's hilarious from page one , but around page 40 someone called us a bunch of cackling hens. Mother Cluckers International developed from that. WE smoke asparagus. Have parties. General outrageousness. Roosters are by invitation only.

If you start from page one, make sure to have your Bounty. Highly recommend.

I am going to throw my neighbor into the fire. She is well meaning so I think a light toasting will do. Her 76 year old mother was diagnosed with breast cancer this year. She required a mastectomy but no chemo or rads. I would offer consolation except when I bring it up she looks at me with tears in her eyes and says" I am mourning my mother's breast". "I can't understand why my mom isn't more upset about losing her breast".
Our mutual 47 year old friend has liver mets. Her original breast ca was 8 years ago. I went thru hell last year with treatment, I have one boob and am terrified I won't live until I'm 76. -
------THERE IS A HEN HOUSE PARTY in OMG THEY FOUND A CURE FOR STUPID. iT'S BEEN QUIET FOR AWHILE. VEGGEY HAS KEPT IT GOING

EVENTUALLY TRY AND READ FROM PAGE ONE, IT IS A COMEDY CLASSIC------WORTHY OF THE OLD SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. MAKES FUN OF EVERYTHING. AROUND PAGE 40 SOMEONE CALLED US A BUNCH OF CACKLING HENS. tHAT WAS GOOD FOR ANOTHER 50 PAGES OF TOTAL NONSENSE-------YEAH.
PETERED OUT AFTER THE HUNDRED PAGE PARTY. PASS THIS ON TO WHOMEVER YOU WOULD THINK MIGHT ENJOY IT. AND GET YOUR SILVER HAT READY
sent this to people and threads did however get confused at times and may have had wrong namesin it------oh well it's them drugs LOL ------invite whomever you would like. I think I will make a knew silver hat. If things offended you , you will love this, everything is mocked just as Chevy chase and the original Saturday night live crew did it. All tongue in cheek----oops a
double

sas-schatzi: Thanks for the invite. Just added to my favorites. Too funny!
-
Hi ellenquilt.
We are practically neighbors.
Jo...I have nothing to throw in the fire right now
I am a big supporter of the Bonfire.
♥
-
Sheila - You can come visit anytime. You don't have to have anything to throw in. Remember this is a magical fire and you can come just to warm yourself up when you need to.
-
Have not been on here in a while but today I had a dentist visit and the tech had trouble getting my temp crown on. I ended up in the dental chair for 3 hours. I really like my dentist and her staff, it was just one of those things and the girl had to keep working with it to make it right. All the same my jaw is now very sore so I am throwing in my three hour dental visit today.
-
Sherry - This is the perfect place for the dentist. I would rather stand in a long line at Wal Mart than to go to the dentist.
-
Sherry-Did you have your thyroid covered during the proceedures?
If not im gonna throw your dentist in the fire!!!!!!!!
-
I just suggested on another thread, that we throw into the Bonfire of the Goddesses all the idiot politicians. But then I took it back because then there'd be no one left to run the world!
-
Hi Ladies, I'd like to toss the insurance reps on the fire. I asked my DH to talk with his HR benefits guy to be sure they were paying for the Oncotype testing before it happen. The guy emailed the BCBS insurance rep and he was told they never heard of that test! Good grief what an incompetent customer service rep! I just couldn't believe it because I know that Medicare even pays for it and they are the "standard of care"! Sometimes I feel that these idiot insurance people are dumber than a box of rocks! OR they just don't give rat's arse and just want to make money and screw you! ERRRRR! Kitty
-
Kitty----your right if they deny it exists, then they don't have to deal with it. And you don't live in timbuktu. They are idiots------------into the fire with them
-
and here I thought the flow chart for insurance approvals started with "deny claim and see if client appeals" but apparently it's "deny knowledge and see if the client appeals"...
-
Hi badger-------insurance companies , docs , the all unknowing. yes if they deny knowledge of a test that adds a layer for approval. The doc has to provide further justification for a test with back up justification. Then the insurance company has to determine can it be done in network. If it can't be, then they may define who is appropriate out of network. Then allowable and charges, but you know all this-----------your comment was done with the otters laugh ---yes?
-
I think the insurance companies need to be slow-roasted. No quick flash flames for them!
-
ellenquilt, very funny and I agree!
-
Ellen... I am going to bring down the Stubbs barbecue sauce to help slow roast 'em!
-
Great! Let's baste and slow roast on a spit.
-
Hey SAS, if you meant was I being facetious, the answer is yes.
-
I enjoy a barbecue!
-
Ohhhh...It's time for a Keg!
Now where were those boy toys....must go back a few pages and find them! They'll tend our barbecue, while we enjoy our cold beer.......
-
Had my breast biopsy one year ago today - Yikes. Had a little meltdown and a good cry. Into the fire with the sad emotions. Trying everyday to be as positive as I can.
-
Granny they put the vest looking thing on me and I forgot to ask for they thyroid shield. And to top it off my temp crown came off on Saturday and I had to go back on Monday to have it put back on. I get my permanant one Aug 31st.
Kitty I have BCBS and they paid for my oncotype test, BRCA test, and Pet scan with no questions asked.
So sorry about your melt down but sometimes we need them to be able to move on. I am getting all giddy about you coming and staying with me during the Texas get together. Can't wait.
-
Jo... Throw your calendar into the fire too... So you can forget the date and get on with living and accumulating good memories!
-
Sherry - I am pretty excited too. Told DH I was looking forward to driving back up myself and having a great time with the gals.
voraciousreader - I know what you mean. I have a 17 year survivor friend who already has the wine chilling for Aug 30th. She has been so great and always lends that shoulder for me to cry on when I need one.
-
Ya'll having a texas get together? Wow. wish I could come. If I crash it would anyone let me stay with a dog?
