Love to share good news!
Last week I went for my routine exam with my endocrinologist. I have Hashimotos thyroid disease, so that's why. Anyhow she examined me and thought she felt a lump on the thyroid. My heart sank and I was scheduled for ultrasound which took place last Friday. I was so not happy to go back to the imaging center where I spent so much time in the past 
. Nothing good ever came out of it as I always had something they wanted to bx.
Well great news came today! My thyroid u/s shows "no abnormalities"! So happy to get a normal test and no one wants to put a needle in me somewhere. Though I would share good news. We all hang in there.....

I had the same type of experience this week. I had to have a colonoscopy because of an area of con concern on a CT scan. Doc said normal results no further testing necessary. I cautiously believe him. Congrats to you!

Before my u/s I googled up everything on thyroid ultrasound so I could get an idea what a bad one would look like. (yes this is a NON recommended thing to do, but can't help it!). While doing this I saw a film of breast cancer metastisizing in the thyroid. Can happen, it seems. Thanks for the cheers - I was so happy to walk out of there without someone wanting to put in a needle in me!
