My MRI has shown I have a satellite tumor. 3 of those darn tumors stacked on top of each other leaving me with a 6.8 cm tumor on the bottom 2.2 cm in the middle 1 cm on top. Anyone else have this can't even find any info on this. Surgery scheduled for 8/31 waiting is brutal. Going to Sanibel Beach today to meditate and relax and gather some shells.Prayers and positive thought to all. Maggie

Hi Maggie, I haven't heard of that but obviously it happens as it happened to you.  My thoughts would be that they will treat it as one large tumour when it comes time to remove it and aim for the clear margins just the same.  Iknow that this time of waiting is really hard but you are approaching it from a good angle by heading to the beach for some relaxation and meditation in a place of seren beauty.  Good luck.

    Love n hugs.  Chrissy

Maggie, I've never heardd of it either, but as Chrissy said it must happen. The only thing I can say is I had a very small tumor right next to the larger one along with some LCIS. I agree it more than likely will be handled as one large tumor.

You are doing the right thing spending the day at Sanibel Beach. It is a lovely beach. By the way I also live in Florida. We have a thread here for those who live in Florida. We would love you to join us on that thread.
