OMG-BRAIN????
Omg! Had an mri about a month ago, and mentioned some thickening of lateral rectus muscle. A couple weeks later, starting experincing some pullness and double vision when turning to the right (but left eye bothered me). Went to see eye doctor, and my oncologist ordered an mri of orbits. Eye doctor by exam an report was not impressed, gave me eye drops with steroids, but after a week didn't help. Had mri of orbits last Monday, and hey called me back (grant it, not until thurs.afteroon-okay), or add't views. My onc. called and said they saw something in the right orbital lobe and since eye was not better, wanted me to to er. Long story short, they found a 6mm area in the oribital lobe, with still the thickening in the left orbit. I am in hosptial getting decradron every 6 hrs. iv. having a spinal tap tomorrow. Anyone else anything similar? Would love to hear from you!

try to take as few of the decadrons as they allow.. at least thoroughly discuss it with whatever professional you can...... it made so puffy and ugly.
I know it does wonders for reducing inflammation but I think it just shifts it to your face and tummy.... (kind of kidding there).
wishing you the best of luck.

I had Her2+ BC September 2009. Did 6 months chemo, then double mastectomy; 7 weeks radiation & a year of herceptin. In June of 2011 I started having headaches oncologist had MRI done on July 14 and found I had a 4cm brain tumor from the BC. On 7/25 had brain surgery per Oncologist and MRI brain clear...I just completed 3 days of cyberknife for brain met from Her2+ BC. Today is day 2 after and I feel jittery and just out of it... Anyone else feel this way after Cyberknife?
