Drdoolittle: I make it each time. To obtain the best nutritional value, the juice should be consumed within 20 minutes of juicing. It is work, but worth it. Kale is a great food for fighting breast cancer.

In terms of quanity, I usually use 1 lemon, 1 apple, 5-6 cabbage leaves and 5-6 kales leaves. Serves 2. I use organic fruits and vegetables so that I do not have to peel them during prep. To juice greens, you must use a masticating juicer.
At some point I will be experimenting with a watercress based drink.

I make a smoothie in the morning with kale, broccoli, baby spinach, blueberries, and pineapple. Talk about cancer-fighting!
My fav sandwich in the world is a veggie sandwich on Ezekial bread with homemade hummus, red peppers, onion, baby spinach, avocado, and broccoli sprouts.
Hummus recipe:
1 can 15oz chickpeas
2 cloves of garlic (or more, if you likes it spicy)
2 TBsp of tahini
2 TBsp of olive oil
5-6 TBsps of lemon juice (generally the juice of one juicy lemon or two non--juicy ones)
1tsp of cumin
salt to taste.
Drain chickpeas, reserving 1/4 cup of liquid. In a food processor, process all of the ingredients except for the liquid. Stop processor, add liquid, and process again. (Don't know why that step is necessary, but it's in there.)

I just discovered this - 1 cup kidney beans no juice (soak 'um overnight and cook with seasoning), 1 cup brown rice cooked, 1/2 red pepper diced, 1/2 cup cabbage diced, 1/2 red onion diced. Put in bowl, add at least 3 tablespoons unfiltered apple cider vinegar and 2 tablespoons olive oil, a little salt and pepper. Mix and refrigerate overnight. Good snack.

Nice, Omaz! Gotta love the beans - so good for you. I make a three bean chili - I will dig out the recipe once I move (moving on Thursday) and post it. It combines beans AND cooked tomatoes, which are both important cancer fighters. And so delicious!
