I just got my first issue of "Women and Cancer" magazine. They offer a free subscription for one year (4 issues) to patients, survivors, caregivers, family members & advocates. The magazine looks like it has some good articles in it. Here's the link to subscribe:

Thank you so much, I just signed up. I will go back later to look at their web site. Cancer awareness is now such a part of my family. I have a young adult daughter that now has to include it in her and her daughters medicall history...what a legacy to pass on. I am thinking this newsletter will be a family read!

Hi, Marsha. We still have to find a date to meet for lunch. My daughter got me a really nice pink shirt with the pink ribbon symbol on it. I'll ask her where she got it.

Hi!!! Ladies, I am a cancer surviver of 7 yrs now WOOHOO!!!!.

My sister now wants to have a generic breast cancer test done,can anyne please tell me how this is all done. thnx so much much love and hugs.

Hi Shelley,

It is done by taking a blood test. Her doctor will be able to refer her to a genetic specialist who will explain it all .

You can also go to http://www.facingourrisk.org there is plenty of information on this site that will apply.
