I'm sorry Blue was deleted.  Can't imagine she said anything that anyone posting here would think deserved deleting.  I'm surprised  BC.org hasn't done anything to get those stupid "reviews" deleted?  Well, I'm done  Certainly not my "job" - think we tried hard enough.

The mods deleted Blues comments .. she's not banned.  I'm sure she'll be back when she can.  She may be having a hard time typing today with her PD.  Some days are worse than others.

Sunflowers .. It's just plain hot again today.  I mowed the front earlier today and it was so hot, I have no energy for all my other chores.  Sure wish we would get some rain.

TAKE GOOD care of yourself, really, stress is NOT good for any of us, expecially women with more than just bc to live with -  that review site is really posionous!  Disregard it, no value, and it's gone on long enough so that someone should have gotten it stopped by now.

Oh, arnica gel.  I had back surgery years ago, and when the morphine was stopped, one of the nurses suggested, when I got home after 2 weeks in hospital, to use Arnica Gel.  SO HEALING.  My ps had me take Arnica tablets ( homeopathic) before surgery.  It really helps to prevent black & blue marks when bruised.  After the injury, I first use arnica gel, then after the first day or so, I use tager Balm.

Homeopathic medicine is given MUCH more respect in England, than it does here.  But it's growing in the States too.  YOu will find Whole Foods generic Brand 365 Arnica Gel the best value, if there's a WF ( what we sometimes call Whole PayCheck) near you... good luck, Sunflowers

Athena - I was an insomniac for over 20 years and never could get the doctors to listen and prescribe a sleep aid as they were concerned they are addicting.  I was always told if I changed my sleep patterns for 2 weeks it would all go away.  Bullcrap!  I took every over the counter drug out there to sleep.  It wasn't until I got diagnosed with cancer that I was FINALLY able to at least get ambien which works for me.  All those years I was so miserable so I do get what you are going through.

Just started drinking Tart cherry juice.  Already downed a 32 ounce bottle in 4 days, and I have a lot of aches and pains.(old age), and they seem to have subsided some...........not sure if it is the cherry juice, or just a weird coincidence..................guess time will tell, since I just started Femara....................we all know what that can do.

lindasa...............haha...................question lindasa...........................I was talking to someone who is on Femara.............she said she was on the "brand" and she did fairly well just a few SE's.....Not relaizing when it went "generic" she was given that drug.......................after about 6 weeks she began to have SE's that she never had, and the ones she did have got worse....................she talked to her MO, and he asked for her insurance company to allow her to get the "brand" name drug for the same price as the "generic"................they okayed it, she went back on the "brand" Femara, and within 1 week all of the new SE's went away, and the ones that got worse...........improved...................she questioned her MO, and he told her that even though the compounds are the same with "generic", and "brand"............at times it can be the difference in the makeup of the other ingredients in the "generic". that can cause problems.......................all things are not equal.............they just have to use the same compound............not the same fillers, and that is sometimes the problem.

I worked for a Pharma company for 15 years...............called one of my counterparts, and asked that question, and he told me............your MO is right................all things are not equal, and sometimes the difference causes problems for some people........

Ducky -- thanks for the confirmation.  I'm seeing my onc in September and am going to ask her for an Rx for Femara, and no substitute.  Even after sitting down for a few minutes, when I stand up my legs are SO stiff and sore -- takes awhile for normalcy to return.  And my plantar fasciitis is worse than ever before.  Haven't changed anything else -- just the switch to generic.

Well, looks like I'd better take extra-special care of my ovaries -- can't afford to have (any more) cognitive problems. 

I had several "visual" migraines while I was pregnant. 

Now that I'm going thru peri-menopause and am on Tamoxifen, I've a had a couple as well.

Very weird phenomena. If you google "visual migraines" you can actually see a simulated video of what they are like. At least what mine are like. I have no pain whatsoever-just a sparkly circle in the middle of my field of vision that gradually goes away. My opthamologist told me that if the circle appears in both eyes' field of vision, that is a migraine. If it was only affecting one eye, it would be something else.

Ducky .. you may not have any SE's from the Femara, especially if you have already been in menopause for awhile.  My SE's of nausea, vertigo and vomiting from Arimidex were immediate and started the very first day.  I kept taking it for a week to see if they would stop .. and they didn't, so I quit taking it.  I had the same problem with Tamoxifen.  I wish I could have taken the medication as I'm 100% ER/PR+. 

Hang in there .. hopefully, you won't have any negative reactions to the Femara!

I think it is OBVIOUS there IS NO hostility on this thread.  I'm tired of the accusations, and the people posting on this thread are not causing the HOSTILITY.   I am also done trying to "defend" BCO on the "review" thread, when the only action taken seems to be taking this thread off the active list.  

Also don't care if this post is deleted, or copied by one of the Gretas.
