but I need to know one little thing, what is the difference between 3G and 4G?
-
ooo-ooo- I know I know! (I think) 3G is 3rd generation & 4G is 4th generation, so they get more techie & do more the higher up the G scale you go!
-
4G is faster. I am with AT&T and they have 4G in some places but not everywhere yet.
-
Isn't dependant on the amount of content you want to download and/or use?
-
-
This would be a good spot for all of us to BYOB and sit a spell on the rocks..
-
Or get in a raft!
-
We would have to get sippy cups...
-
I'd love to sit the front area where the rocks are white and looks like there is a step to the water..
-
Sheila, come on down.

and a healthy snack

Hey, count me in on that too. I perfer to sit on the rock, I don't drink and raft.
Eph - Barb is right 4G is faster than 3G, however, 4G is only faster where the 4G network is available and it is not everywhere just yet. When it is available everywhere everyone (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, or who ever is left) will have it. Each generation seems to be getting a little faster than the one before. If you are getting new equipment, ie, phone, touch tablet, you might as well get the 4G so you will already have what you need to take advantage of the higher speed when your provider gets it too. The best thing to do is find what you like and stick to it for as long as you can or else you will be getting new stuff every year just to get the latest and greatest. Only technophobes do that, right Barb?

So glad to see that there's drinks and goodies today.
I just saw on FB that it's our own Marlegal's birthday today!!!!!!
Now we need balloons and cake and maybe the chocolate special.........
I'll go see what I can find.
-
I think the adage for the 21st century is that the day after you buy an electronic device, a new one comes along, or it is suddenly less expensive..
-
-
Here's an ever-faithful visual that seems to always be appreciated by the birthday gals around here. I think summer's the best season for re-runs:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
-
Finger-lickin' good!!
-
-
Now that your taste buds are aroused, perhaps some cake is in order.
You know how I feel about polka-dots!!!!
This should be enough for all of us...............
-
I got a new dress for the dance party about to unfurl!!!
-
Everyone raise your glass, it's time to make a toast to one of our ol'-timers..... and I say that with a tear in my eye. It's such a gift to get to be an ol' timer at BCO.
We are blessed to have our own Mary running thru in the midst of her wonderful life, giving us all encouragement and hugs in her wake, sharing her favorite beach photos and offering us love and friendship in every post. She has been an amazing ambassador for BCO & it's a real pleasure to have her splashing along with us on an on-going romp of hilarity.
****clink, clink****
-
clink Happy Birthday Marl
-
Here is to Mary♥
-
You can't see it but I'm raising my glass of Crystal Light Raspberry Ice (don't anyone tell me it's bad for me! I love it!)
-
Everybody gets to raise whatever they want!!!!
Mar. Here's the picture that my DD posted to my wall on FB tonight, on the occasion of your birthday. It's a picture of our little 'red' in their backyard.
I am just AWE-struck by this picture.
Completely & totally AWE-struck.
Happy birthday!!!!
Happy summer, beachies!!!!!
