Thinking Out Loud.....

I can;t wait for it to happen. This time, really, Good Night! thanks for sharing your wisdom!
-
We're baaack.
Glad it looks like your numbers are from B9 causes, Deb.
Ouch - burned back of the legs - hope it fades quickly. I burned the back of my calves and knees at the car wash in June - that stung. Didn't get burned farther up - that part doesn't see the light of day - lol.
Owww - my aching feet. I don't know how many laps I walked. I bought a lap counter thing where you can pick up a bead every time you go by the table, but then they moved the table later on and I didn't see where they moved it until I had lost count of my laps. Tough course. It is done in a parking lot where there are alternating strips of grass and gravel. So the long sides of the rectangle were nasty big gravel and the shorter sides were paved roadway. My feet - or should I say body - got an extra workout. I decided just to see if I could stay up all night - as did DD (Batman), Captain America, and Wonder Woman. So I'm a zombie now. It was easier than last year, though. We alternated frequently, so we all had breaks.
Captain America was a hit. Have to get those pics off the camera. His mom made him a pretty good costume. Young kids loved him- had a bunch of them come up to him to say hi, high five, and even have their pictures taken. It was great. Can't wait to get his mom the pictures so she can see her hard work was worth the effort.
One of the fundraisers was a jail. There was a lady dressed as a cop and she had handcuffs and you could pay $5 to have them put someone in jail. Then they can pay $3 to cut their jail time short and they have the option of paying $2 to find out who turned them in. They came to arrest Captain America - when he was finished making his luminaria for his grandmother who is doing chemo now. It was really funny. (A good example of the gamut of emotions at this event. From somber remembrance of loved ones lost to sad emotions about a loved one (or oneself) going through tough times now to fun and games.) I have a great shot with several of the Superheroes in front of the jail with him inside. Then they arrested Batman. I took a bunch of pictures of that - but didn't realize DD had taken off her mask. Would have been better with the mask. The DJ even announced that Batman was in jail.
We made $50+ selling our goodies. Still have some left over. I think a few people gave extra money. It was a good time - even though fundraising results were disappointing. Eh - maybe we'll go door to door and try to get more people to donate after the fact.
I had my first irl (in real life) meeting with a BCO sister, Karebear. Saw her post on the CT thread that she was going, so I posted to let her know I was going too. It was nice to meet her and her husband and dad. Somehow we all need to get together some day.
zombie hugs ♥ (((((((TOL))))))))) ♥

I have all the fruits now

They had black apricots. I only bought one to try it. It was smashed but i ate it anyway and i liked it.
I'm treating myself with GF tonight. OOOH oh and steak for dinner!!!
It's very warm but i need to cook the broccoli air the house then put the AC on.

-
It's very warm here also.
Working in the yard and had to come in to cool off in the shower. My face was beet red. I was told to drink lots of water when I got home from having the CT scan. I guess I should drink a lot today, my mouth tasted funny.
Going to have some GF then cook up some Corn on the Cob and Steak Strips for suppa.
Sorry Sandy, I missed the post about the chemo. Take care of your self and we all love you!!!

Are you having fun with Sam?

-
No Dirty Minds need to apply...The whole on the left is very itchy. I think i need to take it out what I put there yesterday. Right whole is fine.
-
Gawd, I hope you are talking about your ears????
-
-
Thank God!!!! You should have some Sam, it cures what ails you!
-
I dont feel like Sam or GF.
Maybe i should check myself to the ER

-
Whats wrong with you??
-
Not wanting to eat is not a normal sign for me.
-
Me either. And not wanting a drink????????????? Not good!
-
I think we both need medical attention.
-
Thanks for keeping us posted on how you're doing, Sandy. We want to know how you are - the good, the bad, and the ugly of it all. ♥ So sorry Zometa is nasty. I was hoping it would be gentler on you. Maybe your body will get used to it to some degree? Sending comforting (((((((((HUGS))))))))))))
Glad George helped you - sorry that it seemed like too much for him. He's still a kid. They can be helpful and thoughful when they think of it - but because they are kids, they don't always think of it when you need them to. Helping you will be good practice for him if he wants a family of his own someday - thinking of others' needs and providing for them so it would be good for him to help you - at least to some extent.
Maybe a local church can help you with meals next time? There are often people who like to cook and like to help who would like to cook for you.
Linda - Thanks for clarifying what the itchy hole was... I had no idea what she was referring to - lol. Hope your sunburn doesn't hurt too much today.
Sheila - I feel like I need to see a doctor when I don't feel like eating the things I usually like to eat too.
Hope you are hydrating yourself enough, Deb.
I slept for about 4 hrs or so this afternoon. I still feel weird. My eyes feel funny - like they are puffy - maybe some pressure. Weird. Hope sleep tonight will make it go away. I don't do all-nighters well.
-
Sleep well Chris! And everyone!
-
Good Night
Time for GF & TV.
-
Good Morning. HOT here already!!
