Florida People WHERE R U?

Hi - I took the Key West Express about 2 years ago. I liked it. It was interesting when they drop you off and you have to navigate to your hotel with all your luggage. We ended up with a bicycle-taxi! That poor guy had to pedal us to the other end of duval. The boat has a lot of different areas to hang in depending on your mood. There was an area of booth seating, good for families or working on a laptop, of course there was a bar area, and another area with just rows of seats, and a rooftop area outside.
-
Sunny, can you meet us on 8/10 for lunch?
-
Barbara, How many are joining us so far?
-
I'm planning on going.
Bella Brava looks wonderful! Lee
-
So far, Kira, Lee and me. SpecialK maybe. She is having surgery so ???
-
BarbaraA - Is lunch on 8/10? I thought it was on 8/6? I definitely want to go.
-
Yes, correction: LUNCH AT BELLA BRAVA 8/6 at 11:30. Sorry I was brain dead there.
-
The date is the 6th not the 10th. I am really looking forward to the get together.
By the way this is the first time I've had my picdture taken in 1 year. I look 10 years older than I did one year ago. It stinks what BC does to us..
-
I think you look cute! Love the chemo curls. Now I will recognize you.
-
Kira - is Punta Gorda in Charlotte County? The former director of the Central Florida Development Council for Polk County just took a job as the economic development director (or some similar title) in Charlotte County. He's a great guy and you are lucky to have him working out there.
-
JoanDavis, Yes we're in charlotte county.. Glad to hear we got a good guy working for the county. I just love living in Punta Gorda. The town has a small town feel but big enough to have some culture. Not enough for a Chicago native but at least some.

Hi ladies,
I'm a fellow Floridian, but in Miami. Anyone else over here on the East Coast? Your lunch in St. Pete sounds like fun - enjoy!
-
Hi golden, 3jays lives in Hollywood and Chrissy is coming from Australia to visit her. I plan to drive over and spend a night in Hollywood (this will be in September) and I am sure we are having lunch. Keep this on your favorites with email alerts so I can keep everyone posted.
-
Hi all,
I will be at lunch on 8/6 barring any unforseen events. I had surgery last week but was experiencing very intense pain over the weekend and almost went back to surgery on Mon. afternoon when a fever spiked as well. Pain dissipated a couple of hours prior to my meeting with the PS and so we are watchful waiting and taking antibiotics. So for the moment I still have a semi-matched set! Yay!
-
Thanks, BarbaraA. This thread is on my favorites. I look forward to meeting you all in Sept.!
-
Aw SpecialK, I hope you are feeling better tomorrow. I will PM you my cell.
-
Golden, I hope to meet you in September.
-
Thanks BarbaraA - this will be a better weekend than last weekend! It was scary, you would think after 6 surgeries in 8 months another wouldn't be a problem, but I really wanted to hang on to this TE! So glad all is well with it - just returned from the PS and he is happy, so I am happy.
-
SpecialK,
Hope you will be feeling better really soon and looking forward to seeing you Aug 6th too!
-
SpecialK,
Hope things go ok. I am looking forward to meeting you 8/6
-
I WANNA COME
-
So come on!! I'd love to see you again!
-
Bella Brava's menu looks divine! I think I am free that Saturday. Anyone want to carpool from Lakeland/Winter Haven?
-
I would love to come too, sounds awesome, but alas I am way down in southwest Florida. The only time I get up there is for Moffitt a couple of times a year and for my Yankees..................I hope you all have a great time.
-
Wow. Come on gal pals.
-
I am doing fine ladies - and planning on being there next Sat. to see all of you! Thank you for all the good wishes, I so appreciate it!
-
SpecialK, I'm so glad you are doing well. Looking forward to meeting you.
