Thinking Out Loud.....

I just found myself. good morning.
Sandy...When you are off 1 week the SE continues or you get a break? Thinking of you always♥
I'm not sure if Macy's calling me today.

Linda...It's nothing personal if they don't like you because at that age I'm sure we didn't like grown ups around us as they think we don't know nothing...LOL
Diane...hoping temp. living situations will be pleasant.
Chris...How is Conn here it's getting very humid.
((TOL))

Will you be able to feel any better during your 7 days off? I hope so. ♥
Relay for me this weekend. Should be a hot one - I think it is supposed to stay dry - hope so anyway. A few more girls have joined the team. I hope they can raise a few dollars before Saturday. I'm not sure these kids get that the point of this thing is to raise money - not just hang out, camp out, and walk laps. Well, it's a start. Maybe. I hope.
I wish we had decided to do this sooner and that friends had thought to suggest that their families that own businesses could put Relay fundraising cans at their registers. With only 2 days until Relay - there isn't much time for raising money that way. Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda... Sigh. Well, maybe we'll do it anyway - a day and a half - maybe even Saturday morning. Could raise a few dollars in that time.
DS is finishing up a sleepover and DD left to meet some friends (mostly guys I think - but they are good guys) to see Captain America.
-
Haven't been outside - think the heat might be starting to build.
((((((TOL))))))))
-
i want to be productive today and i dont mean cleaning the house or vacuuming.

AC is looking at me either that or i take a bus and go to Macy's.
Have a cool day everyone.
Hi PEEPING LADY>♥

Had a very short day today. The company celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a Q2 meeting follow by a luncheon buffet at Nashoba Valley Ski Tiki Hut Bar and Grille. We all had a great time.
-
The meeting started at 10:30 and I got home at 5:30. It was ok as long as you stayed in the shade. Did I miss something?? Why the temporary home and court stuff. Does this have something to do with the kitchen Diane?
-
Yes, it does Deb. Our home is insufficiently supported. Under the house will be receiving all kinds of new supports. Then they have to tear out my whole first floor, including cabinets and granite. Then put in new flooring and put it all back together. After that, they have to up to the rooftop and tear down the unsupported parapet walls, build supports and hten redo them. Upon notice, the builder closed his company and cleaned out the bank so we are going after him personally (while he sits in his 13,000 sf house).
-
the bastard, I pray he gets what he deserves.
-
me too - he belongs in linda's septic tank but not until we get our money...
-
That reminds me of Linda.
LINDAAAAAAAAAAAA......Have you survived? Are you OK?

-
Ugh, Diane. That's what they all do. Build a neighborhood and then dissolve the company and create a new one for the next batch. Should be illegal to do that. I hope you are successful. Maybe you can get his license taken away - or at least the license of whoever (whomever?) should have known it was being built wrong - if the builder hired and engineer, for example. Is there a such thing as "malpractice" insurance for builders?
Today is baking day. We went door-to-door last night. 3 other kids came over and we split up into 2 teams and did parts of 2 streets each. They raised $43 and we raised $35. So a better fundraising night, but our totals are still meager. DD and a friend will be baking at her place today and I'll be baking here. Hope there are enough people who want dessert to buy our stuff tomorrow.
On a positive note - TMI - today is my "heavy flow" day instead of during the Relay as I had originally expected - period came earlier than it should have come since it had only been 18 days (Thanks, Tamox.) I was expecting it though - because 5 yrs ago I developed what I call "ovulation pain." I don't know what it is - it's a tenderness - sometimes an ache - that now lasts about a week - in the middle of the month. I'm not sure if it finishes 2 weeks before my period or starts 3 weeks before, but it seems to happen when ovulation would be happening. Ovulation pain, from what I've read, is usually more of a sharp pain - usually on the side of the ovary that is releasing the egg and I think the pain doesn't last more than a day. My "tenderness" is very low and in the center. I've had several ultrasounds and they've found nothing. Guess this just happens to some people? Gotta love being female.

1st August is my OPD for the follow up check up. I have to submit my mammogram report, chest x-ray report to my doctor. I am still confusing that everytime when I report to my doctor he checked only the operated area but not advise me for other parts. I really dont satisfied at all the way the doctor says nothing to worry. In between the six months period I have lot of untold problems about my entire body. Should I show it to specialist or not I am still not confirm by myself. I am taking calcium tab for the last one year alongwith some supplements like antioxidents, protiens, multivitamins etc. I have not advised for bone density test, blood test etc. I really dont know the system of follow up treatment as it seems quite different from your doctors.
-
Enjoy your 7 days off Sandy. I hope they are awesome for you!
Good luck Monday, Diane! It's got to be a pain to find temp houusing, but it will be worth it. I was thinking of you as I was enjoying Chapaquoit beach!Plenty of room in the septic tank......
Chris, people stand at the entrance of Dunkin' DOnuts and the transfer station on Saturdays to collect money. They always make a bundle because so many people are there. Maybe you could try something like that?
Raj, make a list of things that are bothering you and bring it to your doctor when you go. Even if you only see them once in awhile, keep a list.
-
Oh yeah- the transfer station - good idea - maybe tomorrow morning - although I hate to get the kids up early to go to the transfer station when they are going to be up half the night that night. Will have to think about it. Should have done it last weekend...Thanks for the idea!
Raj- you're not alone. My doctor doesn't care about all my health complaints. She does a couple tests, they come out normal, and she doesn't bother to follow up. I need a better doctor. I think often once you've had cancer the cancer docs thinks the primary care doc should deal with general health complaints- regardless of whether it might be cancer meds causing them and the primary care doc probably figures the health complaints are due to cancer treatment and that the cancer docs should deal with them and then no one deals with them and we get to suffer. Hope you can get your doctor to listen to you. Unfortunately, it might take several attempts to get the doctor to listen. I've pretty much given up.

Could it BE any more humid? Dew point is 72. No wonder I'm sweating.
-
Same here Chris....yuck!
-
We are right on the Tornado Path.
This is the first time we got warnings not watch.
I just stopped by to say I'm OK so far.
AC is on dewpoint is the same here.
-
You had a warning? That's so scary. You're in the clear now, right? Tornado threat is over for the night, I hope?
-
thanks chris....Storm came very close where i live. About 20 minutes away some towns are without power and trees are down. I didn't hear anything about tornado touched down yet.
-
It is scary. Hope you are okay Sheila!
Heading back to the Cape tomorrow. yay!
-
I'm OK Linda...Just thunders and rain.
OOOH enjoy the Cape tomorrow. Are you spending the weekend there/ I hope you are.
((TOL))
-
Just the day, going to my MILs beach, Duxbury beach. We go to the 4 wheel drive beach there. LS is pissed he has to go, tough shit!
-
Maybe LS can bring a friend with him
-
I always make a list and pull it out of my pocket book B4 my doctors have a chance to look at charts or ask me questions. If I don't make a list I will forget what I wanted to complain about, LOL
I have that disease called CRS (can't remember $hit)
-
Enjoy th Cape, I will be thinking of you when I am on the table getting a CT scan tomorrow. I told DH that I want to take a trip up to the lake and go on the MS Mount Washington or one of the mail boats. Doris E or Sophie C. I'm getting sick of yard sales and flea markets.
-
Love the lakes too Deb. I'm heading back there mid August.
LS cannot bring a friend, they both did yesterday. We are bringing my MIL out so there is no more room in the truck. He wants to bring GF.....no! She showed up at the private beach we were at yesterday. He swore he didn;t invite her. lol. Ya, I'm stupid!
-
Linda....That's who I really meant
