I have had 2 lumpectomies on my right breast and this is the first time I am having radiation (whole breast because even though I was a good candidate for contura my other RO waited to long to have balloon inserted). Any way, today I had my second treatment and after going to put miaderm on my breast it has swollen to twice its size. It was smaller than my left after the last surgery but today after the 2nd treatment it has swollen tremendously. Any one else have this much swelling, this soon? Does this mean something?

    I had two surgeries to my axilla (where my tumor was) and it was already swollen before I began rads, but about week 4 of rads my whole underarm, arm, and hand began swelling.  I was very concerned about LE (still am, and am working with a LE therapist).  The swelling did subside maybe 3 or 4 hours after a rad treatment.  Does your swelling subside at all?
