Symptoms with liver mets?
If you were diagnosed with liver mets did you have any symptoms? About 3 weeks ago I had some mild nausea, which I was attributing to aspirin and ibuprofen I was taking for posterior tibial tendonitis. I did 2weeks on prilosic and the pain was gone about 2 days into it but I finished the course last week. Fast forward to today, I was waiting for a patient, and decided to scan myself. I am an ultrasound tech. There is a 1.2 cm mass on my liver. I took some pictures and showed it to a radiologist. He thinks it is benign, but based in my history suggested a CT or MRI. (this mass was not there 2months ago when I looked). I called my ONC at 8:30 this morning hoping to get the study done today. When I did not hear by noon I called again. About 3:00 the nurse called back and said she had to clear it with the doctor. I called again at 4:00 but still don't know if it is approved. I'm really worried it might be mets. I have a 3 year old dog and I fear what might happen to her if I don't survive.
I hope I am over reacting. I would appreciate any info you may have on symptoms. My parents just left town yesterday and won't be back till late september. They were out of town when I was originally diagnosed and I am hoping history is not repeating itself.
Thanks for listening to my rambling.

Hi Nancy,
It's hard not to think the worst when having breast cancer and finding a mass anywhere on the body.....but, the chances of it being benign are more than 90%!
To answer your question about symptoms, jaundice is not a good sign, along with severe nausea that doesn't go away and sometimes intense itching, too.
Take a deep breathe, eat some ice cream, watch a comedy and try not to worry. Let us know the outcome (which will be b-9!!

I had my CT today. It was 100% normal. The other tech and I have no explanation for the mass we saw on the US, but I will take normal any day.
