Thank you ideas

Hi

I am soon returning to work after 10 months of treatment. Yay I think . My question is does anyone have any ideas on how to thank everyone at my work for all the support they gave me during my tx. They brought dinner, gave me gifts galore, raised money for me to get by as I am on a reduced pay right now. They took turns driving me to rad treatments. The list goes on. I can't afford to buy them anything. Any ideas???

Bake cookies or take everyone out for pizza if you can afford. Personal thank you notes/cards are always in good taste. It lets people know they are appreciated.

If it's a large group, I would write a general thank you and post on the company bulletin board (group gifts, general collection). For those who went the extra mile, write personal notes thanking them for bringing over a meal, driving to appointment, etc. If you can bring a treat (pan of brownies, a coffee cake or similar) that would be something nice. If you have one common area, a cheerful bouquet of flowers will help carry your message. But a thank you note, personalized to giver would mean more than anything you could buy or bring.

I like the qualification: "Yay, I think...."

Thank you for the responses! I agree with the personal notes. I will do that for most. I had an idea about getting some pretty stones and handing them out. I once heard about a guy who carried a stone for gratitude and whenever he held it he thought of things he was grateful for. I thought letting them know I am grateful for them. They could leave it on their desks or whatever. I know that I look at life differently now and my friends are just awesome I want to do something special.

aren't friends great.. I need to do some thank yous. Thank you for the reminder (and I like the angel token idea). My husband give out real silver dollars - i give out the fake ones that you can buy for a dollar.

Glad this got bumped up. I keep thinking of how fortunate I have been through this whole bc ride and it would be nice to let people know that I still am so grateful for them helping me through this. Like the angel coin idea too!
