Good night!

Shower planning - do you know how hard it is to find things that don't have a speck of pink and blue? What an effin' pain in the ass. I am a freaking saint!

I think I told you TOL'ers that for the last three years we have been in a lawsuit against our builder. Next week, finally, we go to mediation. That means I have been and will be fairly busy with that - I just want to make sure you know why I have disappeared. It has been devastating to buy a brand new home that is structurally unsound, enough so that the whole first floor of tile has 75 lines of cracking (really pretty). Once we get through this part, we will choose a contractor, move out for 3-4 months and finally get our home the way it should have been. It's been a nightmare to deal with, complicated by BC. Then complicated by the gender neutral baby shower

I think I can. I think I can....
-
Hey Diane thanks for letting us know so i dont act like a crazy lady calling your name.
Yes you can. Yes you can. I wish it was little less complicated.
how is mother to be doing?
Sorry everytime I read the words Gender neutral this smile comes to me and I think of you Diane.
Are you gonna be connected to Computer or not?
If I send you email would you get it?
I missed you already.
-
Oh, I will absolutely be connected - most of the files are on the computer. I will be on email for sure. My mind is consumed with getting this resolved. This kind of stress has not been good for BC or my weight or my wine consumption. Actually, aside from the gender neutral crap, the mother-to-be has been much nicer than in the past. Perhaps the pregnancy hormones are the reason. I pray that it stays that way, it is why I am willing to put up with all the requirements. She asked me to change the invitations to put her name first (it was too late). Sure it was.
-
you are absolutely right. Unfinished business is not a good feeling especially something big as this one.
-
Sheila - you always sum it up so well

-
Well...I was enjoying the cool air but the skunk had a different plans.
Now windows are all closed.
Good Night Diane
Good Night TOL.
Good night john boy
Good night Elizabeth..................

-
Good night, Sheila-girl!
-
Good morning

I have no plans yet except laundry
♥
-
I have no plans either. DD is still asleep (or so I assume - haven't seen her). DS's friend is being non-committal about getting together today. Getting hungry. Might iron a couple things and then try to make myself get on the elliptical. Maybe if I get on the scale, that will motivate me to get on the elliptical...
-
I was on the scale already

-
Step away from the scale................
-
Scale worked. I ellipticalled. Now I have the challenge of not stuffing my face for the rest of the day and night...
-
Looks like storms are headed our way - severe t-storm watch until 10. I don't think you are in the watch zone yet, Linda. And Sandy is farther south, so she is good.
Hope everyone is enjoying the sub-100 degree temps.
-
We're supposed to get them later on tonight. I love a good thunderstorm!
-
WOW Chris!!! Hows the weather??? Exciting afternoon in your neck of the woods!
-
Wasn't bad here. Guess all the bad stuff was all around me. I like a good storm too - as long as there is no damage. Got some decent rain, though.
Keeping an eye out for a rainbow. It's still raining and I see the sun coming out.
-
There it is!

-
Heading out in about 20 mins for my Ultrasound on my Uterus 2C if there are any fibroids. If so, that could be the reason the CA 27-29 is elevated. Saturday I have a CT scan.
-
Ok Deb when do you get the results
Diane, oh her name first as opposed to what? Omg...is she your daughter in law or daughter.....is the shower at your house?
Linda they moved the date for the kids to go to school after labor day, working on the school, asbestos, wtf....
Chris the rainbow made me smile, thanks for that...
My first Zometa treatment tomorrow @ 1, never 15 years ago thought chemo was done, (got it for 4 hours the 1st time 3 different kind) so I will do it have to...again not happy, lol
Happy Tuesday night!!
-
Sandy...I'll be thinking of you my sister. ♥
Peace of mind to everybody.

-
I'll be thinking of you too Sandy. Do you have anyone to go with you? Maybe your daughter? Could be a real eye opener for her. I wish you luck, my friend.
Good luck too, Deb. Let us know how it goes.
-
Sandy - I hope the Zometa is easy for you with no se's and obliterates those mets!
Deb - hope they have some answers for you so you can rest easy.

I'm bored.
No I'm not snacking or having dessert.
-
I'm back, I still have uterine fibroids, a radiologist will read the results and compare to my last US which was done many years ago. My PCP should still have those on file. It will be a few days but my onc is on vacation this week so I will call her sometime next week unless she calls me first. Stopped on the way home and bought a pastrami sandwich, it was very good, I had to pee so bad when I got to the medical center cuz I drank over 32oz's of water. Was I glad when that was over. I also had a trans vaginal US after the regular US. I guess to get a better look. My ovaries looked good so she says. LOL

WHY PARENTS DRINK
The boss wondered why one of his most valued employees was absent but
had not phoned in sick. So he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with
a child's whisper. ' Hello ? ' 'Is your daddy home?' ' Yes, he's out in the garden ,' whispered the
small voice. ' May I talk with him?' The child whispered , 'No .' ; So the boss asked, 'Well, is your
Mommy there?' ' Yes, she's out in the garden too '& The boss asked; 'May I talk with her?' Again
the small voice whispered, ' No .' Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a
message, the boss asked, 'Is anybody else there?' ' Yes , ' whispered the child, ' a policeman
.. ' Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, 'May I speak
with the policeman?' ' No, he's busy , ' whispered the child. 'Busy doing what?' ' Talking to Daddy
and Mommy and the police dog men. ' Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the
background, the boss asked, 'What is that noise?' ' It's a helicopter ' answered the whispering
voice. 'What is going on there?' demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive. ' The search team
just landed a helicopter ' 'A search team?' said the boss. 'What are they searching for?' Still
whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle.... ' ME '
