I'm so ready.

Travel channel is killing me with joy.
I don't believe everything I'm seeing sooo beautiful
-
I'd like to rent an island. lol...better get a job first!
Beautifu; muggy day here. I thought the humidity was supposed to leave. Hopefully soon!
-
But if you get a job, you won't be able to go to your island....unless the job is ON the island...
Well, I didn't elliptical yesterday, but I did today. Now I'm beat.
Sun is back out here and it's getting hot and humid again here too. At least it shouldn't get up to 100 this week. Did you get any rain, Sheila?
Time to go to the concert on the green. It's tv and movie tunes this week, including DD's favorite - music from The Incredibles. Fun.
-
No rain it got dark now the sun is out.

Just had a nice visit with Maureen and Diane two girls I graduated with. Boy am I full. Started off with chips & crackers with garlic and onion dip, shrimp with cocktail sauce, choice of ham, chicken, seafood salad sandwiches with macaroni salad and tomato basil salad with motz cheese and balsamic vinigar then we had a pre birthday party for ourselves since we all turn the big 60 soon with a Boston Eclair with a small umbrella stuck in it. Sang to ourselves, LOL {:<P
We chatted for a while then made hot fudge sundays.
-
Sounds like a good time. I'm full just reading about all that food. Sounds yummy!
-
I just took the garbage. Still feels warm and humid.
I had a mango over the kitchen sink too juicy

Where is Ms Red Rose/

-
I am here! I think the humidity has finally left. I have not turned the AC off yet, still enjoying it. Its cool outside. Mango sounds yummy!
Glad you had fun Deb. I'm full too!
-
After the flea market today I had a Pineapple Mango Smoothy from McD's. It was pretty good and probably 1000 calories. I took a picture of the Eclair with the little umbrella in it.
-
Oh Deb...That's what I had wasnt it delicous? Why 1000 calories?

I saw the eclair on FB. I love eclairs. i love everything. Right now i can eat anything

I just talked to my DR (MH)
She is reducing to dosage to half and we will work up again slowly.
I need to be very careful because of my sensitivity to medication.
Oh God I have 18 days left to go everything has to work. i don't want any issues when I'm in the plane.
Now we sing and then I go out.
lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
We can all go to NZ

-
Good luck SHeila!!
-
How did the wrist surgery go? Wherre did every one go. I joined in July and there is nothing on here since April.
-
Do I dare say it? I'm actually chilly today. At least the house has had a chance to cool off before the temps go back up again.
Are you getting some much needed rain today, Sheila? I hope you are feeling better on the lower dose.
Trying to decide whether to go door-to-door asking for donations in the rain this evening. We really need to go. We aren't doing well. People either aren't home or don't answer their doors. One guy even saw us coming up the driveway and closed the shades in his front window. Like we didn't see him... We just put a flyer in his mailbox -didn't bother ringing the bell.
It was getting dark before we called it a night one day and one guy even commented that it was late. What? 8:30 is late? Just a few weeks ago, it still would have been light out. I should have commented that cancer doesn't go away when the sun goes down...
I think I'm in a bad mood today.

TGIR TGIR TGIR

It.s 70 degree, windows open. I went out before but it was very humid. Now it's perfect.
I cooked a chicken with carrots and a potato on the top of the stove.
Got some corn they are boiled. Papaya is cut to bite size. I even made jello today.

We're having leftovers from the restaurant the other day- although today would be a day to cook since it's cool. I'm not hungry. Had a late lunch and my digestion has been very slow lately. TMI?

chris....Maybe you should post something on FB about donations.
-
I did - just one friend "liked" it. I commented on my post to try to get it some attention rather than reposting - asked DD if it showed up in some way that I commented on my own post. She didn't look it up for me. I don't have that many friends anyway. I was hoping DD's posts would get some donations from the adults she's friends with (who have credit cards and could donate online), but nothing yet. Even a couple neighbors who said they would donate online haven't yet. Hope they just haven't gotten around to it. I hate to go there this weekend with hardly any donations. I don't have that many friends (poor me) and I'm not working so I don't have that many connections for getting money. Last year, my friend who is doing it with us raised a lot of money for our team, but she did Komen earlier this year and hasn't been into the Relay as much this year. Maybe this week she'll send out an email and get anyone who didn't donate for her for Komen to donate for the Relay. So that's why I'm thinking I'd better go door to door. Even if people only gave us $2, if we go to enough houses, it adds up.
Maybe we'll do better selling cookies and brownies this year. There was a bad turnout last year so we didn't sell much. This year, we're doing a different Relay which sounds pretty big, so maybe there will be more people who will buy our cookies. Not looking forward to baking later this week when it's back to pushing 90.
