Thinking Out Loud.....

We start school August 29th, but band camp starts 8/15 so DD won't be home most of that time. Not sure if I want to let DS do it. He wants to - DD doesn't want him to - he can be annoying. I'm not sure he's committed enough. I would like him to do it, but he won't even practice the music. THAT pisses me off. My kids drive me insane.
Glad you have a car that works, Sandy! Does it have a/c? I could live without music and the inconvenience of having to manually lock the doors, but must have a/c. Our a/c is flaky. Don't want to have flaky a/c in this weather...
So proud of Michael turning things around with SS.

Here's a link in a tweet by our local news station
And by the way - We're #1! We're #1! CT just overtook CA for having highest gas prices. Sucks living in CT.

Hi to mothers with young children or teenagers.

Patience patience patience!!!
Deb...Are you back?
Sandy... happy for your car as long as you can drive it.
Lazy day but i have to cook something i cant just munch on things anymore. I want a meal.
-
-
I'M back, boy is it hot out there, I have 107 degrees but I think the gauge is in the sun.
I had a very good talk with my onc, and she said she has no problem ordering scans for me. The TM CA 27-29 was down again from last test but still high. Results were 41.4 and normal is: 0.0-38.6 U/ml.
Tuesday after work I have an ultrasound on Uterus and Saturday July 30th a CT scan.
-
Deb...i was waiting for your results.
you need to do it for your peace of mind.
Now I continue cooking yes i decided i need real food.
Talk to you later all.
-
It's 90 degrees in my house, but that felt cool when I came in from outside. lol
Glad you are having scans - hope they show all is well so you can be at ease. ((((((Deb))))))
Hope you enjoy your cooked meal, Sheila

-
I'm glad you are getting the scans too Deb. Better safe than sorry!
-
When I had my mam June 13th then right after the Follow up with my BS Dr. Kelley Cornell, she asked me if I wanted to do the MRI in 6 mnths, I opt out. My onc Nancy Chun kind of made a face and said I should cause I have dense breasts. I'll ask her again later. I went groc shopping and I think I have enough food to last a long time. Sunday hopefully some school chums are coming over here for food and chit-chat.
-

My project failed.
Egg didnt cook and I waited with my camera like a stupid.
Couple of my neighboors were excited.
-
thanks and yep grateful i have the car baby steps..
90 omg chris
Deb so happy u talked, do you feel better?
think mine go back 8/28 or something....
happy friday
-
I had a delicious dinner.
I made chicken sausage with peppers & onions and the last 30 minutes I added brown rice.
-
Maybe you should try to fry an egg on the hood of a car?? A black car??
-
You want me to be arrested

Even if i had a car i wouldnt try it . it stinks. At least i tried.
-
I'd tell my kids too but they would...on the roof of my BLACK volvo!
-
Time for cup of tea. My throat is not happy.
I have this dry cough for days. And it's beginning to make me nervous now.
-
Its probably just the AC. I get congested from mine.
-
Yes Sandy I feel a lot better. Took a Xanax before I went just to calm down cuz I was nervous. She is so sweet (my onc) She told me that even a fatty liver will elevate the test. Well, I remember when I was first dx and had a CT scan the report mentioned fatty liver and I do have high cholesterol but it has been in the normal range for a long time. I also had uterine fibroids. So the ultrasound will find that and the CT scan will see everything else.
-
Sheila, my DH said the same thing and he thinks it's the AC. I cleaned the filter. But it is just the dry air inside. No dry air outside that's for sure. LOL
My 2 HS friends dropped over for a surprise visit we could chat forever.
-
Sounds like fun Deb, hope you enjoyed it!
-
They are coming over Sunday also and trying to contact others that live nearby.
-
Sounds like fun. Sunday should be a perfect day!
-
Hope you have a great time with your friends on Sunday, Deb.
The kids in the tweet I posted cooked their egg in a frying pan on the pavement. Maybe that's the trick.
DH and DS came home from camp a couple weeks ago just coming down with colds. DS is over his, but DH is still coughing. Your cough is probably the a/c, but if not, maybe it's just a summer cold. Don't panic. ((((((Sheila)))))))
((((((((TOL)))))))))))

Good Morning! Another hot one. I hear rumbles of thunder....
-
Thanks for the heads-up. I saw that it was overcast and in the 70's and I thought I could sneak a run in - but it looks like there is a blob of rain nearby... I thought we weren't going to have storms until later.
-
Me too but we had some pretty cool storms move through. I love weather shows!
-
hey there
sort of raining here well drizzling.
Egg on a car, interesting, they have been showing all kinds of stuff, frozen mac n cheez n frozen pizza on tv
Deb still will feel better when you get the CT scan.....whether it is fatty stuff or not!! That is wonderful about HS friends, they knew you when....important...
-
We have no rain here and we need it desperately.
I didnt go out. Just finished my morning coffee. I need a shower.
Maybe another teenager day is in the horizon. Why not right?
(((TOL)))♥

-
What are you all doing today?
Linda..Are you at the beach?
-
Yes! Be a teenager today, Sheila! (that's what you meant, right?) Will be too hot to do anything else!
