Good evening all! Am I the only one here who got the fly joke first time around

As for the rest of it ... a Tequila Sunrise sounds good. Maybe if I get drunk enough I can make sense of the obsession a few people have with this thread. Chitchat about food, how hot it is, billy goats who pee on their beards, and other such topics served up with the cool drink of your choice. Dangerous stuff indeed. I guess ... somehow ... maybe ... good grief.
Going to go read the latest trainwreck. Will probably be sorry.

Ooooh, yeeha, Barbara! Let's get killing! I'm waiting for malwarebytes to finish the complete scan. Then I'm going to uninstall and reinstall avast and see what happens. Too bad I can't bring it to NOTL since I'm flying! I'll email you if that doesn't work (probably tomorrow with various error messages, including a partition error I don't get). Thanks! I love this bar! (and my friends in it, old and new!)

WR, hey, you hit it, must be the billy goats who pee on their beards! Maybe we could make up a logo of that for our gangsta spats!
Well, sewing nut, I too just love those little umbrellas - was it Trader Vicks ( Ann, help here) in New York City where we used to get these amazing concoctions? with all that fruit, umbrellas, 'n stuff?
Navy Girl - I really hope thenewme gets how much of a differene she made and MAKES with her posts. She pm'd me her email too, so if we don't hear from her in a few days, I'll get in touch. Sometimes a person "under fire" just needs a bit of a rest.
Yum sangria, BIG pitcher, so cold the glass is sweating, and everybody, in honor of SewingNut gets a "brolly" ( as the Brits would say)
-
HL, I have a remote support program (from work) so I can help if you need it. I help our customers all the time.
-
Barbara - thank you! I love you and my computer does too (I think it's winking at you now!). Malwarebytes is still running the full scan (1 hr/5 mins now). After I try all of my limited and pathetic tricks, I will write down the stuff & email you. This bar is awesome!
:-D

Well it's hotter than the hinges of you-know-where -100F, feels like 106!
Susie, I'm enjoying a glass of Lismore Range from South Eastern Australia. Mighty tasty!!
-
Barbara, would that help a Mac too??? I'm still not using a Virus Protection program....ooohh,,,,bad, can ou sugget a good one for a MacPowerbook2011 version?
-
CS, clueless, I am Mac challenged although I have an iPad and iPhone. Those I get, a real Mac..,.not!
-
I guess if I had to describe it I would say that Mac makes it too easy for the user so for me, who needs to help 'rescue' people, it is really not easy.
-
No, hillck, no problems. Just feel so NAKED when I think of all the viruses out there - and the weird problems reading some of the threads on this board when there were glittery neon flashing cartoons. I read somewhere that there are now a few viruses Mac can pick up??? I've only used a Mac - since my first SE20 bought in 1989!!!! When the 20mg ( yes, 20 meg) hard drive crashed, and I replaced it with a Whomping Big 180 mg - I kept the original hard drive and use it as a door stop. It weighs about 2 1/2 lbs. SO funny to still have it. Guess, I'm sentimental ( yes, the mental part after these boards today!!!)
Sangria....yum, yum, yum
-
CS, yes it was Trader Vic's -- but sadly, I never went there! The original was closed before I moved here, and I never went to the "relocated" version in the Plaza while it lasted!
-
OMG, now RB is totting drinking urine. Am speechless.
-
Wow. I'm stunned. Maybe the mods ought to take a look at that.
Bren
EDITED: Why is that woman allowed to post whatever the hell she wants. This really takes the cake. I really don't want women I refer to this site to read about urine therapy!
-
Now I've heard everything. Wine isn't doing it for me. On to stronger spirits. This is getting out of hand.
-
Oh dear. Waste is waste not medicine. The rest of what I'm thinking will get me banned for life...or maybe not.
-
Geez, this is tempting me to un-ignore. Ok - I looked, I'm speechless. Ignore again firmly engaged.
-
Rosemary, ROFL. Please warn us before you post something like that! I just sprayed my computer screen with my vodka tonic.
-
Mary whatever do you mean?
-
If anyone has tried it, please don't tell me.
-
This bar deserves three starts from Michelin - and they serve wonderful lobotomies - make you more intelligent, wouldn't you know...
Edited out the rest. Not worth my time.
Some threads serve pee, we serve G & T. You choose, consumer!
.
-
I can tell you, that in some south east asian countries, some women do, well, drink a little bit of it. I heard of it, when I was in India, but did not expect to see it on these boards - but then, we know that a certain poster posted her rants against chemotherapy on the 3N Forum. Now that is, IMHO, worse!
UGHHHHHHH!!!!!!
-
All I know is I just poured another 1/2 glass of wine. I see another 1/2 in the near future.
I just hope the mods new rule changes take care of things.
-
One can do so many things with urine. Whodathunkit!
-
new rules change? Does that mean, preaching Peace & Light on one thread, and attacking anyone who doesn't agree with one's "opinions" on another thread, may be called into question. As long as it's one thread, and someone is kind enough to "read" for those women ignoring - it might work.
Amazing - I honestly do feel sorry for the owners of BC.org - can you imagine what some of the interviewers questions in the future might be?
In a shot glass? Or a cup?
I'll stick with sangria - and need a lot more glasses, pleeeeeez.
-
Isn't it a remedy for jelly fish stings? Still better than drinking it.
-
Wine helps. Lots of wine.
ETA: The situation at BCO not jellyfish stings.
-
Or for keeping deer away?
-
....as long as it doesn't remind you of certain oh-so medicinal therapies parlayed elsewhere....(in other words, no white wine)
-
It doesn't work keeping the deer away.
Bren
-
At least my pee in the coke joke was funny.
