Thinking Out Loud.....

Chris lol Same thing happened to me 2 years back at Macy's fitting room. I was shocked when I saw myself. Came home and went to a strict diet I think about 6 months later I lost 10 pounds.
Now I'm chubby again it will be very interesting and terrifying to try a new bathing suit.

-
Just don't try one on. Love yourself the way you are!
-
Thanks Linda. I always had issues with Bathing suit (even when I was thinner) not so much with clothing.
Now i know that I will always be a chubby elderly woman.
I accepted it. I wish i could swim with clothes on.

LOL!

Get This! Onco office called me at work wanting to reschedule appt until the end of Aug. I said NO WAY!!! I told the person that called me, "I had arranged to take the whole day off for this appt when I have to take a day off I have to call a temp agency to take my place at the front desk."And I had my BW Saturday, if the TM is still abnormal I told her I want Dr. Chun to find out WHY!!!" She said she would talk to the dr. A few hours later I got another call saying they will leave the appt the same. BET YOUR SWEET ASS YOU WILL I felt like saying.

-
Hi Foots!!
You go girl!! Good for you Deb!
Thinking of you Diane!
-
HI Foots
Hi All
(((♥Diane♥)))
Good Morning.Today is lipid day leaving in an hour.

-
I heard someone say my name...several pages back. I had a hard time reading everything to catch up because there were so many unread pages. So I skipped ahead. Hope there isn't any test on the previous material.
-
Good for you, Deb! Sometimes I feel sorry for the people who must call us to let us know of appointment changes. I am sure it is not their choice to change the schedule, but they are the messenger!
-
Good to hear from you Meece!
-
Yea Shiela carvel, cleaning yuck!! thanks guys again, seems like that is all I say..
Chris you deserve whatever you want!! buy away
Hey Meece, baby is adorable
You go Deb don't let them mess with you, wth is their issue
Yep have AC landlord just put new unit in and new heater in on tuesday, now house is cool..
Hey foots!!
-
Thank God for Air conditioning. It is disgusting out! Heat index of over 100 today. yuck!
-
Nice to see you Meece - we were worried about you a few pages back...
Good for you Deb making them keep your appointment. They have dragged this out long enough already - you shouldn't have to wait any longer! Hope you get good results from your tests! ♥
It's sooooo hot! I was cleaning. Stupid me, I know, waiting until the hottest day of the year so far to clean - but it needed to be done and DD was having a girl over to practice marching band music. The other kids in her section are slackers! (Except the ones who are working - they are excused).
I swear I sweated more cleaning today than I do on the elliptical! (Elliptical is in the basement which is cooler.)
Ditto on the Thank God for A/C! We have a window unit in the room over our garage. My parents actually gave it to us years ago so when they came over in the summer they would have a cool room to go to! LOL Now we have a combo a/c / heater/ dehumidifier in the basement after last summer when it got hot down there and never cooled off. I've had it on the dehumidify setting and it's actually quite chilly down there. I don't know whether a/c at a higher temp would be more energy efficient than my having it on dehumidify on a lower temp. I'm too stupid to figure it out. Anyway - so thankfully we have a couple cool (cold?) places to escape to. The rest of the house is disgusting! Blech! I don't know how anyone down south could survive without a/c.
Hey Foots! Hope the weather gets better for the poor fruits and flowers!
(((((((((TOL)))))))))))

If the drizzle and chill in Seattle don't stop soon, I may just go crazy. I need some natural Vitamin D and a little color wouldn't hurt either. My flowers are unhappy too.
Today I went for the test I was so afraid of. Let's start by saying it didn't happen because I have an iodine allergy and would need to spend a few hours on IV antihistamine first in order to try it. However, he did do an ultrasound and feels very strongly I don't need the galactagram and recommended I spare myself the discomfort. He feels it was only recommended with an abundance of caution. So, is it time for dessert yet?
-
YAY and yes!!! It's always time for dessert!
-
Thanks Linda - I am comfortable with his recommendation because it matches the breast surgeon and the rad onc. It was the med onc who felt differently.....
Can;t wait till 5:30....
-
What's happening then? And remember its always 5 o'clock somewhere!
-
Well I have the caterer/rental people coming this afternoon for the no pink allowed baby shower
It has gotten a little bigger than I expected. I can cook for 20 or 30 but not 45 or 50. If I had some dessert now, I could end up ordering much more than I want to pay for.... -
Yes, but then you will have plenty of left overs and wont have to cook for a week!!
Off to orthodontist soon!
-
I'm home.
Diane I'm relieved you are OK. And yes you can have dessert.
I'm not leaving this house again today.
BP is fine. BW will get the results in few days. I told him that I was committing all food related sins. He laughed.
-
Yay no allergic reaction producing test! It's after 5 here...you can have dessert at any time!
Glad your BP was fine, Sheila - now to be pleasantly surprised that your bw is good too despite all that sinning.
I think I'm going to burst into flames. For some reason, we insist on hanging out in the hottest room in the house. Wish we could send some (SOME! all would be too much) of this heat and sun out west.
So, The Ellen show was the repeat of Lady Gaga's premiere of Judas. I'm sweating now after trying to follow their dancing. (Then again, I was sweating when I was just sitting down too.) I am so dim-witted. I just can't get the hang of it. I ain't got rhythm.

-
Boiling up some eggs, gonna have egg salad sandwiches for suppa. AC on in the family room and in the bedroom which is at the other end of the house, I have a very small ranch.
I'm nervous about tomorrow, I wonder what she is going to say/do when I tell her I have had enough. This is if my BW is abnormal. It was only a few points above normal but it still bothers me. Keeping fingers crossed that it is normal.
SOOOO happy to see you FOOTS♥♥
-
Crossing fingers for normal bw results!
-
Me too Deb, my fingas are crossed! Good news for you too Sheila!
It's hot hot hot! Kids don't want to use the pool anymore, they have outgrown it. They were playing basketball in this heat! YUCK!
-
Deb....Did you already have the BW done?
I know what you are saying. We want normal TM !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a tiny place and 1 10.000 BTU AC which cools the apartment. I dont like it ice cold just comfy. I always keep it at 70.
Linda kids are kids remember that age nothing bothered us.
Chris did you drink enough fluids today? Go stay in the cooler room.
Did I mention before that we went to Mc Donalds and I sinned. i got one of their mango pineapple shakes whatever it's called i don't know was delicious.
Now I'm getting hungry again
