P.S.
Endometrial stripe is 5 mm. Should I be concerned with Endometrial Cancer now because of the Tamoxifen? I am 45 years two years out of treatment after bi-lateral mastectomies in June of '09 and chemo. The last blood draw shows me to be going through menopause.
By the way, what does "mildly complex" mean in terms of a cyst? Does anyone know?

Luan:
It's good that you are going to see the Neurologist and ENT - could be an ear problem - Good Luck.

Still me, everyone,s endo thickens after starting Tamox, check thread Tamox and endometrial cancer, great crowd

Thanks Nurse Ann, i probably have enough doctors now to form a baseball team

Hey still-me,
I had almost the same results on my CT when I was having similar symptoms. I had a myomectomy (supposed to be laparascopic, but turned to open abdominal) and had 12 fibroids removed and a cyst. The Tamoxifen causes all of that to grow. While it acts like an estrogen inhibitor in breast tissue, it actually enhances estrogen in the reproductive system, and provides "fuel" for the ovaries. You should probably get a yearly transvag ultrasound and endometrial biopsy to monitor for increasing changes d/t Tamox. That is what my gyn is doing, and I am glad she was on top of it, as my fibroids were tennis ball sized by the time she took them out.
Unfortunately I have other issues now, possibly my liver or thyroid. It seems never-ending on this BC journey!
Luan and Octobergrace - what you are describing def sounds like an inner ear issue. I hear lots of women develop BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) after chemo, which causes intense vertigo with head movements - especially when lying down changing position, and especially first thing in the morning. ENT's can diagnose and treat this, and it is acutally usually fairly easy to treat and control.
Good luck to everyone!

Janine, thank you so much, one for the relief after waiting for a brain scan, then the results, you actually know more than my onco does. Now, i will be well prepared when i see the ENT, just in case he went to same school as the onco...Lots of luck to you, hugzz

Hi all, I spoke with the doctor today. I'm being referred to a GYN. I had to do a CA125 test today.
That's all I know for now. Kepp positave thoughts for me ok.
By the way, does anyone take IP-6 & Inositol to boost your immune system? I've read about it and it sounds like it's worth a try.
((((hugs))))

Hi still me, keeping my fingers crossed 4 u. When is ure appt with gyn ?
-
Hi Luan,
They haven't called yet. All my records have to be sent over and reviewed, then someone is going to call me with an appointment. I hope it is soon.
I did get the packet sent in for the hospital sliding scale though. That should help a little with all the costs if I qualify.
Are we ever really done fighting cancer?

Hi Still-me, read my last posts about tamox. It looks similar to you. I also had/have bloating after a small meal which worries me. If it's only SE, we manage this. Your message let me feel better. Since I stopped tamox in September 2011 I feel better, but headaches lasted very long. Now almost stopped. Then I started aromasin, no SE for now on (a month of taking).
