I have stumbled on a series of Bali camisoles which for me are comfortable and provide the right amount of support across my upper back area where my LE likes to hang out.  Being a little short waisted I have had a time trying to find something that was not too long but long enough to tuck in to pants / shorts, etc.  Anyway...I found these at my local Belks department store and have paid between $13 and $15 for various styles.  The  name on the hang tag is - Bali Comfortshape .

Unfortunately the styles I have tried do not have a built in bra so for now I am going braless when I wear these.  They make my upper back LE so much better so I think it's an okay trade off for now.  Hope this helps someone else!

I love the Bali Comfortshape tank! It's my new go-to tank since I've had my implants removed. The one I got has a slight vertical ribbing texture on the outside. I wear them inside out because of the shoulder seams, and my therapist noted one day when I removed the tank that it had left a ribbing pattern on my skin. She took a close look at the material and said it was almost identical to a LE fabric used on garments. She really liked it and thought it would promote drainage. I paid a bit more for it at Macy's. The tag was marked $25, but with a sale I got several for $20 each. You know how it is once you find something that works, you gotta snap it up. Your Belk's price makes me think I should check some other dept stores.

    Hi Tina,

That's great about the fabric!  I just love these tanks but have to alternate wearing a bra so I don't flatten or lower my new foobs too much.  I find myself reaching for them a lot.  Check out other stores because $20 seems a bit high compared to what I found.  Take care!

I am much more comfortable in a cami myself and like these " BRALETTES" I bought in KOHLS that are between a bra and a CAMI:

    VANITY FAIR PERFECTLY SMOOTH MOVES

It is soft, the elastic is wide and does not cut off fluid movement like a regular bra. Straps do not cut into your arms. Does not have SUPPORT or PUSH UP ability, but that is probably why is works for me so well. My LE therapist says she hates bras, since they cause their own issues many times for patients.

Journey, after your post, I checked to see how much the tank is online, and I found this link. I purchased two in nude since Macy's didn't have that color when I got mine. Too bad I don't have a Belk's near me. By the way, I love your new pic!

Moogie, that bralette looks comfy. Do you think one could fit a form in there, or is it too low cut?

Yes I think you could fit a form if you ordered a size bigger than your actual one. I get  a bigger size so the elastic does not grab at all. It is worth a try!

Wow Tina what a price on that site! Have you purchased from them before? This is the cami I like. It is the Everyday model apparently. I hope they are not discontinuing it!

Boogie I like that bra...very similar to ones I already own. Need to check the brand but I got mine at Khols.

Hmm, I wonder what the difference is between the two tanks as far as cut and compression. Looks like the fabric is the main thing? Now I wish I had ordered one of those to try. I will have to be on the lookout for that model in the store. No, I never ordered from that site, so I will let you know how it goes.

I may need to try this one because it seems to have more support for the girls...

    It's more $ of course.

Journey, I wanted to follow up on my experience with ordering from the website I posted. I received my two camis yesterday, and they were both in perfect condition and fit exactly like the others I purchased from Macy's. Thumbs up on my order and experience. They have a good return policy, too, just in the case of oops, wrong size or fit.

Thanks for the report back Tina!  I did try the Vneck style and it was just too long for me in the torso.  This is always my problem.  I'll stick to my rounded neck versions until I find something better.  It sure keeps that swelling down.

Birdlady, maybe this "Coping" section on swimsuit fitting would be helpful:

Please keep us posted. Be well!

Birdlady, I would say the Bali tank runs true to size, maybe a little roomier than some of the others. I have broad shoulders it is the best fitting tank I've found. I just had my implants removed, so I am completely flat.

Thanks so much for these!  I was just coming here to start a thread asking about bras/camis.
