Liver CT in the morning
Needing some good vibes & prayers gals, I've got a liver CT bright and early tomorrow morning. They saw a tiny spot on a scan back in Feb. so tomorrow we're checking it out. Then I'll start the game we all love to play....the waiting game Hope everyone is having a great bc-free week .

Jen - Sending positive thoughts for good scan results.

OK, hoping they see the spot, it hasn't changed, and they declare it a fatty cyst or something equally innocuous. If they don't see it, you will always wonder if it WAS bc mets that was cleared by chemo, and be looking over your shoulder for the next one. That's my reasoning.
-
I had the same thing. All was good (nodule) they will check it again in 3 - 6 months.
Good Luck. Such a mind game. Big Hugs

It's ironic how easy the scan is. It isn't the medical part that hard. The waiting can be brutal.
Where I have found strenght through these waits is that I tell myself that I absolutely do not have cancer in me. I am clear and this is for the onc, not me. I am not going to waste any days worrying instead of living. The onc is going to have to have some hard proof, absolute and indisputable proof before I will even start to think that I have any cancer.
So far that method has worked well because they have yet to find anything else in me and I was able to live during those waits and not lose time over unnecessary worry.
I will be here for you, also. When do you (we!) get the results?

Thinking of you this morning and sending positive energy your way.

Thanks girls, all the vibes and prayers worked it means a lot that ya'll are here. I celebrated by getting my hair done the first time in over a year, it's finally long enough to do a little something to. I'll find out the results on the 28th when I see my onc unless she happens to call me before then, which I doubt. I know it's silly but I was trying to read the radiologist after the scan to see if I could pick up on anything....no dice though
-
Dag they got that poker face down don't they???
Keep up posted.

Yayyyyy....Benign cyst!!! I couldn't stand it till the 28th so I called and the nurse said "report reads benign cyst" I was so happy I cried....I didn't think it was anything and have had no symptoms but hearing those words was such a relief. So I'm going to keep hanging out with you girls, thanks for being there...again.
-
I just logged on to see if you got your results yet!!! YEAH!!! So happy..I actually have 2 of those myself so I had a feeling you were find.. Great news!
-
Sorry I missed the chance to send good vibes, but so happy for you!!!
-
Yay Jenny! I am so happy for you.

You were so right to call. Waiting is the pits. And what great news you got! I'm really happy to read this. I would have cried, too! Big hugs, G.
-
Hi So happy to hear the good news. SharonH

I know right...I'm glad I called too, waiting over a week sucks so bad. When I called the nurse said, "well, Jennifer we've been soooo busy today and you have your appt next week you can find out then" and the tone in her voice too, so after basically begging she finally gave in. Why don't they understand what we go through, so thanks for making me feel better about calling early.
