Ditto what Linda and Sheila said (((((((Sandy))))))))
So is it a pet rabbit or a rabbit that hangs out where you live? Bunnies are so cute. My son and I yell - "Bunny!" when we see one in our yard. I'm such a child. Sometimes there are two and they play (fight?) and are so cute and fun to watch.
A week or so ago when DD had friends over - I think I might have told this story - they were gathering their toys they had left outside around 11pm. I went to turn on the light in the backyard - DD had already turned it on but it's one of those energy saver lights that takes until sun-up to turn on...anyway - once it got bright enough to see, I started to yell to them that there was a skunk in the backyard so be careful - but then I realized it didn't have a stripe - it had a mask! We had a racoon in our backyard. Never saw one of those back there before. So then I was yelling that it was a racoon - like a child who's never seen one before... Yeah - I haven't grown up yet...
-
Sandy we are here for YOU!!! Rant all you want.
Leaving soon for a wake, one of my DH's childhood friends died suddenly Wedneday morning. It is going to be really sad. We use to own camps next to each other up at Lake Winnipesaukee and hangout every weekend and my DD practically grew up in her teen years with his daughters.
-
It's good to not grow up! Keeps us young. I have about 15 bunnies in my yard and I'd like to shoot them. lol. Not really but they eat EVERYTHING!! Then the racoons, fishers, shunks, deer, badgers, beavers....you get the pic! My neighbor has a 7 acre pond in his back yard so we get a lot of annimals there for the water.
-
LOL pet rabbit....sorry Deb!! Racoons are scarey around here cause of rabies....
-
Sorry about DH's friend, Deb. Too young.
Linda, is your neighbor's name Christopher Robin? When you wrote 7 acre pond, I was thinking Hundred acre wood...
-
Saw last Harry Potter movie. I liked it. Feel sad because it was the last one, but still processing. Being brain dead, I have trouble remembering the details in the book, so when I see the movie, I sit there thinking, "Is that the way it happened in the book?" Now I have to read the book - AGAIN... We saw it in the regular theater - now we have to go back and see it in IMAX - and DD says, "and 3D," - cha-ching. Not sure we'll see both IMAX and 3D. Hard to choose.
Time to get ready to go to the concert on the green.
-
-
Sorry I was trying something and didnt work.
I love concerts on the green.
-
LOL!! Whats really funny is that behind my property is the commuter rail. On the other side of the tracks is 100 acres of woods! So, yes, I do live with Christopher Robin!!
Someday I want to see all the HP movies. I have seen the first couple but my kids werent interested so I have not seen the rest. Whats wrong with these boys??
-
-
I need a shower

Not sure if this pic will post. This is where our beach party was yesterday. The back yard is the ocean. My sister married into money!

I guess your boys aren't geeky enough for Harry Potter... My DS wanted to wear his old Gryffindor robe to the movie, but he couldn't find it. He probably would have chickened out. Did bring his snitch and a big key (which ended up in my pocketbook - lol) DD did have her glow in the dark Harry Potter glasses that we got at the bookstore - I think when the last book came out. Not sure if she wore them at all... She was several people down the row from me, so I saw that she had them, but didn't see how much she wore them, if at all. All in good fun.
-
You're so lucky your kids will do that. Mine wouldn't, but I wish they would!! Sounds like a lot of fun!
-
need a shower also!!!
-
Sorry Linda & Chris I'm not ignoring you but i don't know much about HP to have a conversation.
Sandy if you are planning to take one tonight let me know.

-
What was really fun was back in 2005 when I worked at the bookstore when one of the books came out - 5th one maybe? We reopened the store at 11:30 in preparation for the book release at midnight. Hundreds of people came - many kids dressed in costume. WE dressed in costume. One lady dressed as Dumbledore - it was really a Merlin costume, but what can you do? One guy was Snape. We had a red head who was Ron - he carried around a cauldron and used a drumstick as a wand - lol. One lady was Professor McGonagall. I was Madam Pomfrey. They wanted me to be Madam Hooch, the Quddich instructor with the short spiky hair, but I said no. (Maybe after chemo I could have done it...) My costume was weird - kinda like a Harry Potter meets Little House on the Prairie. I took an empty water bottle and taped a piece of paper on it where I wrote "Skele-gro" and put it in my apron pocket. It was a lot of fun.
-
Sounds like fun!!
-
I spent my day like a teenager.
I ate left the dishes on the counter not even in the sink.
Didnt take the garbage out.
Didn't turn off my Computer since this morning.
I watched soccer (2 games)
Forgot my calcium pill.
And i feel good about it.
Now it's getting very humid. Time for AC. Tomorrow I act like my age and who cares right?
-
Good Night
-
May You find comfort Shelia knowing I did that too.
Please take care all you wonderful people here. Debbie
-
FOOTS! So good to see you! (((((((((((Foots)))))))))))
