Thanx Lisa! hope you are alright. Nowadays. I am unable to join with you all as I get tired from office.I have lot of join pain too for which I need to go to message center.
-
((((((((((Raj)))))))))
I'm glad that you are safe. I heard the news report while I was sitting in the Chicago airport & thought of you.
I am 'home' to our wonderful get-away by the shore. It's cool tonight. Especially compared to the 103 degrees of Vegas. I have my fleece wrapped around me & hubby just turned on the heat. LOL.
I had a window seat on the way out of Nevada and I sat there like a kid in a candy shop. The view was amazing as the sun was rising over the mountains, red-rock and snaking rivers. It was just glorious.
It's drizzling here in our haven, but our newly replanted hostas look look sooooooo happy. They're blooming right now and the fern are lush.

Sleep well my beachies. That's my plan.

Raj, I hate that you have to live with that fear. I pray for your safety.
Faith, glad you're home among your comfy things and especially DH.
We have a wedding tomorrow (which is why I'm up late tonight, no work tomorrow) so won't be online till Sat night. Hope you can all get through a Friday without my wit and banter
Ha!
-
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{raj}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} sending hope of peace and tranquility to your heart with all the violence and uncertanity around you. Take care of yourself and be safe.
Faith - glad you are home to some cooler weather.
Marylegal - have fun at the wedding tomorrow. We will miss you "wit and banter" tomorrow. ;-)
I am off to bed.
-
Now it is 2.00 p.m. (day time), you all might be in sound sleep. I wish u guys sweet dreams and wake up with big smile.
-
HAPPY FRIDAY TO ALL YOU WORKING STIFFS!!
-
Raj, I heard that on the news the other day and got goosebumps. I, too, hate violence. My heart goes out to your country. It's so unnecessary to add yet more grief to an already stressed life......
Faith, I press my nose to the glass going to Vegas too. All I can think of is what a great quilt it would make!! I will do it oneday. I'm slowly getting back into my crafting. I know you're probably off on your bike right now, starting your summer trekking, but remember the sun screen! I find the sun particularly hot this year!!!!
I ain't working blondie!!! Woo hoo!
Gee, it's tough trying to fill in for Marlegal's wit, someone else will have to do the wisdom part!

Today was a lovely day of doing virtually nothing but reading email that had accumulated and attempting to catch my breath a bit.
We took a walk around the 'big block' (about an hour trip) walking the marina and seeing the sailboats setting off for a day of sun.
Went back down this afternoon to watch the polar bear club plunge (or get pushed) into the cold water. I seemed to have gotten a tad scorched on the top of my legs, Barbe. Your warning came after the pinkness found it's way. I must have dozed off while the shade shifted.
LOL. I just wrote that I look forward to church tomorrow. LOL.
Time to edit before hitting submit.
I obviously have no idea what day it is...............
Raj, glad to see your happy face!!!
Hugs up and down the beach.

Faith, you are lucky to live in a beautiful place in summer. Winter....not so much. Heading to the pool.
-
Polar bear plunge???? That's done in the middle of winter up here!! You guys are such ninnies!! hehehehe
-
Barbe, if it is below 82, I don't go in. I am a total wuss. I used to live in Erie PA and did Lake Erie when I was a kid. Fine then but NO WAY now.
-
Hey, I didn't say I would go in.....
-
I like my swimming water 82 or above also...I am so bad about that
-
I am with you Barb and Lisa, I much prefer not to swim in ice water!
-
Hi ladies back from Europe here is a shot of Frankfurt that I took with DH's camera.
-
Oooh, mum, can't wait to see mopre! Welcome back!
-
Sunset that night from one of the bridges. Thanks Barbe
-
This German goose was not impressed with us. The good bird shots will follow later taken by tinyfishy of course.
-
mum - what a beautiful sunset. Love it.
-
Welcome home, Mum!!!!
You guys are globe trotters for sure. I love getting to hop along in your back-pack.
I met some K teachers out in Vegas who are from Germany & they're talking about getting me to their area..... have passport and willing.
I'll be looking for more pictures!!
-
that is looking like fun Mum..love the sunset and the neat buildings..I bet you are having a great time..
-
Faith, we need some more sailboat, sunset pictures..we are going on a friends sailboat tomorrow afternoon, but don't think we can get any photos..
-
Lisa, I take about 10 to 20 every night!! LOL.
How many hundred do you need?
Tonight I was running about 5 minutes late and missed a glorious shot. A boy on a bike 'rode' into my perfect frame and then the sun literally went plop as the boat went gliding on by.
It was pretty funny.
Here's our grand-daughter on FB just now:
-
I saw the bunch of them on FB Faith and loved them all..what cute kids they are and she is a star
-
When I was living in the East, I wrote a short story called "Black Eyed Susans and Queen Ann's Lace" the story wasn't very good but I loved the title...
-
was at a wedding last night and it got me all family/wedding/pictures minded, so I was looking through dd's wedding pics online again today. came across this shot from sunset the night of their rehearsal dinner (to those who weren't in this thread yet, they got married in key west, florida). Lisa, you got me thinking about it when you mentioned sunsets...I just love this shot
-
Faith your granddaughter is adoreable.
The next few shots I will share where taken on my husbands birthday we spent the day driving along the Rhine River.
-
-
The next rwo shots were taken in Berlin.I found the Memorial of the murdered Jews very moving. It really made you stop and think.
