OK, lets get back to work at getting down!
-
When?
-
Starting right now!
-
Let's do it ! One day at a time, one mouthful at a time. One exercise at a time !
-
I am forgoing my midnight snack
.
-
Great Ruth ! Not the best day for me not the worst.
-
So far, so good.....I think I need a DAILY check in!
-
I think the 'let's post our daily exercise' is a good place for daily accountability. I need to get back to posting there daily as well.
-
Hey everyone! This is the first thread I logged into - I need to get back on track.... Life has been a struggle recently with my Dad's care, but he is being "fine-tuned" in the hospital for a few days, had his last radiation on Friday, and then he will hopefully be coming home again.
I will not weigh myself until I get back from holidays (really not going anywhere, but you know what happens when you have a whole lot of nothing to do!!) Need to get back on track then, cause I feel a difference in how my new clothes are fitting...... does hospital and fast food restaurants do that????? Huh!
-
Would it be Okay if I just posted exercise etc here on a daily or almost daily basis. I know there is the Elab and daily exercise post. But, I am too flaky to remember what to post where and when. So far since wednesdya I have taken a Zumba and Bellydancing class. One hour each. Eating, not so great. My first goal with eating will be not to eat after dinner. Pre breast cancer if I did that I could usually drop a few pounds. I am rarely hungry after dinner and just eat 'cause it's fun.
-
You can, or if you want to do it on 'Lets Post Our Daily Exercises", go to that thread and click on the blue button in the right had corner that says "Add to Favorite Topics". If you do that to the topics you want to keep track of, when you come online you can click on the bar at the top of the page that says "My Favorite Topics" and get to them without scrolling through the whole active topic lists.

Thanks Ruthbru !
-
Well, I have been watching what I eat since 7/14 and have lost 5 lbs. I cut out a lot of carbs and eat more fruit. I want to lose about another 20 lbs, but I'll be really happy with 10.
-
kk69Z, thanks. I love my carbs but will use your motivation to cut back.
-
kk that is awesome. Keep up the good work.
-
Got rid of the 2.6 pounds I gained on my 'EAT YOUR WAY THROUGH THE CAROLINAS' tour.
-
KK - wonderful loss - congrats! Ruth - I found 1.8 of those pounds this week.
Family visiting from Wisconsin = lots of feasting = 1.8 pounds.
Fortunately the family is safely back in Wisconsin, so I'm back on the straight and narrow.
-
Forgot to weigh this morning and know better than to weigh at night so will weigh in tomorrow and see where I'm at. Trying to start running a little so that may help jumpstart a new down spiral.
-
166 and holding. UGH !
-
Ruthbru CONGRATULATIONS on the weight loss !
-
I am still up four pounds from when summer started, so still have a ways to go!
-
Double Ugh ! 168. Up two pounds. Exercising like a fiend. But, eating like a horse. I am going for 165 and just hold it there. I don't know how I will ever do it.
-
Didn't move either way. I am eating too much also.
-
Ok ladies so how does this work do I have to give you my actual weight or how much I go up or down? I was down 1lb from 3 days ago when I finally weighed myself. I am trying really hard to give up bad carbs but I soooooo love pizza
-
No, you don't have to give an actual weigh. Just how much you go up or down.....hopefully down more often than up!
-
One day late - I'm dealing with three 4-legged "houseguests" (pets of a friend who was suddenly hospitalized Tuesday night) so life got really complicated yesterday and I never got a chance to weigh in.
The good news - down 1.5 pounds!!! One of the houseguests is a morbidly obese miniature pinscher who should weigh 8-10 pounds. I did a weigh in for him this morning as well - he weighs 15 pounds!! So I'm going to report in on him next week as well. Those on the "Daily Exercise" board already know that I've told Fat Boy Mikey Dog that he's now on his personal Biggest Loser ranch and and I'm Jillian. Ruth called it Biggest Loser - Dog Edition.
-
Love it NatsFan. Kymm I think I'm the only one reporting actual weight and that's just because I am to scatterbrained to remember what my weight is week to week or remember where I wrote the number down. So, I just post the number in cyberspace.
-
Down 1.1 pounds for me this week. And Fat Mikey the Min Pin? He's down .2 pounds to 14.8. I figure that's like a 150 pound person losing 2 pounds, so all our walks are doing him some good. I walked him before I weighed him this morning, and just like Jillian on Biggest Loser I kept telling him, "Last chance workout, Mikey! Last chance workout!"
JVF - I have a Wii Fit and record my weight on that, or else I'd never remember either. I use my regular scale for my daily weight checks, and only weigh in on the Wii Fit on Wednesdays. The Wii Fit tells you how much you're up or down from the previous weigh in so I don't have to remember last Wednesday's weight. Kymn - my downfall is Mexican food, so I know just how you feel about pizza. Have you tried some of the ultra thin crust frozen pizzas they have at the grocery store now? Our local Safeway brand Garlic Chicken ultra thin crust is wonderful, and the calories aren't that bad. Of course, every once and a while we still have the need to order a real pizza from the local corner pizza joint!
-
Still been bad about eating, so still the same. Didn't weigh the cat. I have been playing her ever night, but she tends to plop down and bat at the toys from a prone position. At least she is getting an upper body workout!
-
Almost forgot it is Wednesday already - must be having fun! Still not much motivated to exercise but forcing myself to move at least a little. Don't know what I was last week because I was vacationing but I am down a little from what I weighed when I got home Saturday. Eating is also a bit of a problem. I'm good for a day or so and then it all falls apart. Oh well, baby steps.
