hair regrowth after chemo

I am going through a very difficult time. I honestly thought things will get better after chemo. My hair is destroyed and 9 months post chemo i still dont see a light at the end of this dark tunnel. Can you guys share your experience. I had a straght hair now I have this afro hair. I look like a mad woman and nothing seem to help. Very depressed

    The fact that your hair has grown back is a good sign. For most people it does grow back curly but over time goes back to where it was

    It gets better as time goes on.  My hair isn't as thick as it was before chemo, but it is OK.  To me te worst part was no eyebrows and eyelashes.  If those are growing in you will be fine. 

    I also had the curly hair, but now mine is straight and boring.  Wish I had a bit more body!
