I'll  be in Dallas next week for a few days.  My days are pretty booked, but my evenings are fairly open.

Where is a good place to go at night in Dallas?

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks.

Tonya

    Hi Tonya,

I noticed no one responded to  your question. There is a Texas thread on the Get Together Forum. You mmight get a better response posting there.

    Hi TonLee,

I am a mom of 3 kiddos, so don't get out as much as I'd like, but the Knox-Henderson area is pretty happening area, with lots of pubs, restaurants, etc.  Central 214 on Mockingbird is a good restaurant to try, as is my favorite Toulouse.  The Old Monk is a good pub, with nice ambience. If you want a little more upscale, try somewhere in Uptown, like Cru. There are a lot of restaurants in the Uptown area that are good, but haven't been there in awhile so no recommendations from me.  Here's a link to a list of some of the places I mentioned, but no reviews, so you might want to go to Yelp.com for some reviews on these places.    http://travel.aol.com/travel-guide/united-states/texas/knox-henderson-neigh-dallas-nightlife/

Thanks for all the input ladies....we're finally back from Dallas and what a GREAT TIME!!

We ate so much Tex Mex I gained 3 pounds!!  WEll worth every bite and drink.

We went to Knox and Henderson, but it was kinda dead (week night) so we just went ahead downtown for a couple nights....we ate at El Fenix (favorite) and the Iron Cactus downtown...I liked it, but hubby didn't.  Did lots of shopping, sight seeing etc....

Saw some plankers on the grassy knoll...

hahahaha.....so funny.....and of course we took numerous pics...

    Lots of fun!!
