Lovely!
-
It's all rock along the Canadian Shield. Amazing there is even trees. Where the highway has to have rocks blown up so the road can continue through. Very pretty, but very spacey, too.
-
Barbe, I just love that picture..
-
Barb - absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!! MMMmmm....a place I'd like to sit and enjoy for an hour or two or three.
Yah, my photos are not of traditional "beaches"...maybe "shoreline" would be more accurate? It's the closest I could come to beach photos. *big grin*
-
Lisa, retouched my 'shoreline' picture (like the word Road!!) and I am asking her to post it here. This is what you can do with after market touch-ups on a digital picture....Lisa?

Did someone say EWB has a birthday today? These guys just swam by with a message!
-
Oh my-that is rock solid gorgeous!
I leave in the AM for a week at the central Oregon coast! Can you hear my Hip Hip Hoorays?
See ya next Sunday sometime!
-
LAS VEGAS!!!!
Settling into my sweet suite! The difference between my stay last summer here at The Venetian and this year returning to the Venetian?
In between I was in VENICE!!!
I appreciate this place even more now that I realize the lengths they've gone to create actual architectural details etc.
Waiting for my luggage to be delivered.
Splash happy, campers!
-
Great treatment Lisa!!! My sister tries to get me to do post treatments by saying, 'what did you really see?'. But in this case, in all fairness, it was a misty morning I took the shot. But I LOVE the deeper colours too, so did my DH!!
-
Here's another late autumn shot:
-
Joni, have a great time! Faith, you have fun, too!
-
EPH, have a wonderful time..Barbe, I want to see that place in the fall like you did,
Faith, take er easy in Vegas, oh, I forgot, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas
faithroad, love dolphins..I am off tto play tennis in the heat, crazy lady I am
-
Look who I saw at the beach today??
-
How cute, a squirrel sunbathing.
-
and I found a boat I would like...I love the name and the boat isn't too bad either
-
That is a YACHT!
-
We used to have a yacht. It sleep all 6 of us inside and 2 more topside. We renamed it, but so many people got it wrong. We called it:
Haven on Earth
We sold it when it got to $750 to fill the gas tank. Now it would be $1,200!!!!
-
Haha I wouldn't mind having that little boat either:) It's beautiful!!
I love the autumn pics. I'm so ready for autumn to be here!!!
Hope all you beachies are doing well!!!
Faithie----step away from the remote control for the blinds!!!! Isn't this the same place that had you in awe of the blinds in your being controlled by a remote? LOL
I'm so sorry to hear about your brother, but thank God he seems to be improving. He'll continue to be in my prayers. And you too......I'm sure your heart is divided, but at least you're able to know he's improving!!
Big hugs for everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Yup. This is the very same place we were last year.
Yup. I have a remote control for my window blinds and a seperate way to control the drapes!!
Yup. I have three flat screen TVs in my suite.
Yup. I have my own business center in my lower level livingroom.
**** A word to the wise. When you take a long soaking bath in a sunken marble tub, when you're very exhausted -- remember that you have to be able to OUT of the tub. Save just enough strength to climb back out.
I lay soaking in my tub, watching the ceiling mounted flat screen TV. I tell ya this place is amazing!!! The convention exhibit hall is open each day from 7:00 a.m. till 5:00 pm. That's ten more hours of standing, smiling, chatting etc. I have one more day & fly out on Thurs.
Everybody keep splashing.
-
Barbe beautiful shot hope you will start sharing more with us. Faith it looks like you are having a great time in Vegas.Enjoy.
We are presently in Prague. All I will say is what a beautiful city.Spending two nights herethen driving back to Frankfurt to fly home.Wish we could stay in Europe longer.Photos to come later.Hope everyone is having a great week.

Can't wait to see your pics Mum!! Have a safe trip home....
-
Mum we will all hold our breath until you have a chance to post pictures of your latest adventure.
Just wanted to share the good news that I have just spoken directly w my brother and he has just a couple hours ago been moved out of ICU to a step-down unit!!!! His voice is still like gravel, but it is now human-gravel. So that's a huge relief.
My flight is at 6 am. Must organize the gear for security yada yada.
See ya next from the shores of our summer haven. I will be the one sitting on the lawn chair in a daze watching sailboats frolic.
