SHELLEY!!! We are meeting in Tampa at International Plaza for brunch tomorrow!!! 10AM!!
-
Oops., 10AM THURSDAY!!
-
That's the one near the airport right? I don't know if I can come or not during the work week. I've already taken off so much time...I hate to ask for it. I would so love to come though.
-
You gals have a great time, I will be with you in spirit! Too much to do with a shortened work week. Poo.
-
We will post pics, Shelley!
-
Apparently I misses something! I live just south of Orlando International. I woud love to meet some of you.
-
Count me in! We will have to plan something again soon. I'm in Winter Haven.

Here's another view.
This one outside, after our delicious brunch. Plenty of sunshine and all of us still talking a million miles an hour!! LOL.
From left: BarbaraA, Choca, Silka, moi/Faithie and TerryCarolyn.
Choca, Silka and TC are all three avid BCO chat-line friends. This is the first that I'd ever met Silka -- she lives just outside Indianapolis, but is visiting Choca for a few weeks of FL sunshine. Anyhow, they said that they still chat nearly every evening starting usually after 9:00 p.m. -- here at BCO's chatline.
The Tampa group is VERY organized & they get together all the time. Choca keeps them organized and she's more than happy to add anyone's name to the email trail.

Wow, looks like a fun bunch!!!..........Looking forward to your East Coast get-to-gether!!........I'm over here in Merritt Island....Near Cocoa Beach, lots of great restaurant spots over at Port Canaveral, too bad we can't take a Day Cruise...I will be checking back to see if and when a possible event is planned on this side of Florida or Central Fl....Jewly

Hi, I just saw this thread. I'm in Lakeland - between Tampa and Orlando. Nice to know there are ladies in the area going through all the same BC crap!
-
Here in Treasure Island.
-
Hey Joan Davies, I'm in Winter Haven, your name sounds very familiar to me for some reason.
Shelley
-
Hi, Shelley -- I work for Polk County Government Television (PGTV), so I get around a little bit in the area...
-
Well maybe that is it then. I love watching all the school coverage on PGTV and the ISO performances (wink wink).
-
Shelley -- LOL, good to know we have a few viewers out there! Teresa Martinez, who hosts "Comunidad Viva" actually worked on a documentary of sorts about a breast cancer patient. We've been running it on the channel. It follows her during the treatment process.
-
Waving hi from Miami.
-
Just saw this thread.....I'm in Punta Gorda...hello to everyone !!
-
Hi Punkin! Treasure Island here. I was just down your way on Tuesday.
-
Hi to everyone, just saw this thread, Hey Punkinfish, I live in Punta Gorda too!
-
So does Kira. We should do a lunch there. I would drive down.
-
Hi Florida girls. I am in NE Florida, Flagler Beach. Kind of more like south Georgia compared to all the beautiful sub-tropical places where you guys live. But it is a littler quieter here, if you like that
I'm not much for "get-togethers" but love to keep up with everyone and enjoy their visits vicariously.
Hope all the state is getting some of the good rain we are finally having here. Everything green was just about dead but it is amazing how a few good rains can bring it all back. Except the grass... our area is lucky to have green weeds as the grass is mostly dead. I don't know if it is some kind of bug or disease or what but combined with the drought we've had many lawns have simply given up the ghost!
Love living in Florida

Hi PJ, yes, we had a monsoon yesterday, about 4-5 inches of rain, The sun is peeking out today. All the standing water is ripe breeding ground for mosquitos. We don't usually have them at the beach, except after a deluge. Next time I am over your way, I will PM you.
-
Barbara, I would love to meet for lunch one day.
-
punkinfish, In Port Charlotte too!
-
BarbA,
You do get all over the place! Would love to meet for lunch if you were off the beaten track one day.
Pam
-
Bumping for Kira and we are thinking of doing a lunch in St Pete so anyone near there, chime on in!
