So...looking forward to the day when every pain doesn't make me think it's cancer! 4-5 months post dx for DCIS  and BMX. All patho clear and no invasive cancer seen. Took 2 nodes during surgery, both were clear. First 1-2 months postop I had this "pulling" pain when I extended my node arm fully...eventually went away. NOW, last 3 weeks or so I've developed a pain mid-humerus, where deltoid inserts along with very mild thumb numbness. I also get some pain, cracking at shoulder joint with internal rotation...like putting on seat belt. There's no redness or swelling. Pain isn't constant or enough to feel I need to take some pain reliever for it. Just know it's there when I try to do certain movements. Has anyone else experienced this? Shld I request an x-ray? Last night thought....pathological weakness(lesions/cancer)....this morning I think just arthritis. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The only medical training I have is in putting on Bandaids, but my opinion (worth the price you're paying) is that this is unrelated to BC or node removal. Go see your GP about it.

Thanks cycle-path!! Think b/c it was the node/cancer side of my body I got worried. Who am I kidding...I worry about every little ache and pain these days! So...gonna call the MD today. Prolly just arthritis or bursitis. I'm a PTA by profession and used to work in acute care at one of our hospitals. I've seen way too much sicknesses, even b4 breast cancer diagnosis. So my mind goes into overdrive when there's a problem! Gotta relax and take one day, one thing at a time!

Great! I was just reading on another thread in which a woman posted that she had pain in her hip and was worried that it was something related to BC. The consensus was that when you have BC there's a tendency to think that every mosquito bite is BC-related. ;^)

Very glad everything's normal, and now you can relax.
