Odd Pink rash on opposite breast??

I hope someone here can calm my nerves....the past several weeks I have noticed a few times an odd rectangular pink/red rash that goes from my armpit area to the top of my nipple on the opposite breast I had my lumpectomy/radiation. It does seem to diminish during the day and it is not always there. Of course I don't see my oncologist for another 3 weeks and I got my all clear just four months ago. Any one else experience this???? Thanks so much for all being here....~Nancy

    Nancy - just wondering...do you wake up with it??? sometimes its the jammies I wear and how I sleep - I get a rash looking area and as I go through the day it leaves... Other than that I have no clue...  Could something you are wearing irritate it in some way?...Esther

    I had an icky skin fungal infection that really only showed up if I got hot or sweaty. At first I thought it was an infection but when I went to the docs he said just fungal which is topical and gave me a cream in about a week it went away but its been an ongoing battle as everytime you undergo anesthia your immune system gets so low the fugus pops back out. I would call the onc and maybe you can see the NP and get them to look at it. If its fungal you can get a rx cream or pill but cream is cheaper. I had an infection before and the whole area looked like a sunburn and was puffy and hot. there is definitely swelling with an infection.Hope that helps some..
