My virtual body will make this look good.
-
For us Friday is Canada day.Yes Canadians can also be patriotic. My crv has two canadian flags hanging from it.
-
Theorectically I could wear that bikini..........but you wouldn't want to see it........ever again!!!!!
-
I can't even theoretically wear that bikini..
-
theoretically I MIGHT be able to wear that bikini, but as barbe1958 point out, not only would you not want to see it again, but you couldn't, cuz you would've ripped your eyes out of your head at that sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I am so laughing my head off right now at all the bikini comments and outfits everyone has posted... and SoCals party guests!
-
hahahahaha where in the world is roadie's head????????????????
-
Faith50 - painting a skirt? That's how you're spending downtime? You crack me up woman!!! Of course, I know it'll be a collector's item by the time you're done - can't wait to see pics.
To all in the room, if you ever hear that I'm in hospital with exhaustion, find Faith and have her come give me some transfusions, okay?
Hugs Faith - promise me you're getting SOME rest during this tour???
About that bikini, you know it's bad when I don't even want to see myself in that - let alone have anyone else see me in it!!!
I'm trying out dresses for the party ... I can't decide between these two, what do you think?

T-H-A-N-K
G-O-O-D-N-E-S-S...................
Dear beachies.
I'm one whooped beachette.
I have now completed 11 of the 14 concerts.
I was concerned if my voice could make it.
I can see the finish line.
Tomorrow morning will be huge, they bring all the daycare kiddos.
Today I had a variety of friends come in from points near & far and that gave me a little charge to my Everyready batteries. LOL.
Can't wait for you to see the skirt!!
Coming in and seeing all the fun-in-the-making is a gen-u-ine pick-me-up.
Now I'm turning off the machines and collapsing.
Just wanted you to know I've made it this far.
Ever onward.
I have a full ten days of 'relaxing' before I leave for the HUGE VEGAS convention. Aren't ya proud that I'm pacing myself.
In all honesty there's no way I could have accepted this contract, had my hubby not been willing to do all of the driving and hauling.
The libraries are about half an hour's distance from one another, sometimes about 45 minutes. So each day involves somewhere between 1.5 & 2 hours of driving as well.
This gig is for a much younger person. LOL.
closing my eyes as I type................................
-
Well, Mary, what a choice...I couldn't make my mind up either..
Faith..you work too hard ...take a break, please
roadie, that picture is too funny...
-
Okay ladies we are starting our Party early.Friday is Canada day and Monday is your independance day I think. we will start with baloons.
-
I hope everyone likes barbecue fish.
-
And of course I will tend the bar.
Hey where did he come from?
-
I think the balloon outfit on the right is missing a balloon in a very important nether region...
Do you ever wonder why people in countries that lie their cooked food out in the sun don't die of food poisoning but we can't even have a picnic without a cooler?????
When we were in Greece, they carve the meat for the gyros off a hunk of meat grilling on the outside counter with flies on it. It was terrific!!!!
-
Isn't that Gaga on the right? I don't think she cares about her nether regioin being covered!
-
How about this bikini?
-
Yikes!
-
I couldn't wear that when I was a teenager!!
-
Not my colors. lol or style.
-
BarbA - only you could get away with wearing that one! Skinny Minnie ;-)
-
I MADE IT!!!
LOL.
I am not going to sing any of my music for over a week!
LOL
What a whirlwind!
My hubby picked 4 pounds of blueberries during this morning's concert for us. They are HUGE!! I will bring blueberries for our extended weekend of celebration. We have Canada, the States and Joni to celebrate!!!
And I have 4 pounds worth of blueberries to share!!!!
We're in the car and headed north. We hope to get as far as Chicago tonight and then up to our beachie place in time for an afternoon of reading at the shore. The fourth of July is celebrated starting tomorrow afternoon -- until at least the 5th or 6th! I love the way our little villages go all out for the festivities!!!!
Thanks for all the good thoughts.
I won't be doing anything that requires any effort for the next couple of days. I promise!!
-
Faith, you did it!! Congrats, gal pal!
-
I'm considering consulting w this designer.....
I like their use of color.
Particularly in the hat.
(p.s. I own those tights already. LOLOL)
-
mum, hmmm....where did that odd shaped brown thing come from indeed? ha!
barbe, I thought the same thing about that dress..I was actually just trying to copy the one on the left but it's one picture so I had to take both - is that gross or what?
faith, I'm so happy you're on the road to a happy place with the whirlwind tour behind you - and I'm thrilled for you that it was such a success
I tried to copy that picture last night, I swear on all that's good and holy, and was going to say that it reminded me of Faith, but when I pasted it, I got the box with the red X in the corner and that was all, I was sooo bummed!!! It is definitely you!!!
-
Oh ... almost forgot ... it was annual mammo day - all clear
I also have to get a BSGI in July, but I'll take a clear mammo any day!
-
faith - love that design!! Such a good use of color and playful design! You think your designer would work with me for something fun and still appropriate for the festivities? So glad you are finished with your whirlwind preformance schedule and are now going to get some much needed rest. By the way, I love blueberries too. I wish there was someplace here where I could go pick some. Think I will check the famer's market tomorrow.
merlegal - congratulations on the clear mammo!!! YEAH
-
marl..good on the mammo...yipee
-
Mary, great news on a clear mammo!
-
Marle, happy about the mammo, but now you have me worried about the BSGI!! What the heck is it????
So, no comments on the 'we gotta have a cooler' but other countries lay their food out in the sun?
