    Heidihill,

Thanks for the link.  I am an ERpositve mouse!  I have been taking 50,000iu of D3, weeky since my diagnosis and have gone to a low of 10 to about 33 in 5 months.  I am shooting for 50.  I am sure we will be hearing alot more about vitamin D in the near future.

christine-  If you are taking the prescription 50,000 iu little green caps, I think those are D2, not D3.  My doctor told me that D2 converts to D3, but many of the people here indicate that D3 is much more effective raising levels.  I have taken two courses of the D2 and my level is only 29.  I'm going to stick to the D3 and sunshine and see how that works.  Just thought you should check if you are on D2 or D3 as sometimes the D3 is more effective.

Any recommendations on what brand or kind of D3 to buy? I had been buying one that was in soy oil and stopped that because of being er+.

I use Healthy Origins Vitamin D3, 5,000 IU softgels (the economy size has 360). "Free of sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, barley, fish, shellfish, nuts, tree nuts, egg and dairy products. No preservatives, artificial colors, or artificial flavors."
