One in his thirties who works for the ERT....hottest body ever; I get to watch him mow his lawn. The others not so much. Their headquarters and training depot are here though!

    Morning Everyone!

I like the idea of all those mounties living on my street.

Gracie .. at least there's one that can entertain you while mowing.

Hope everyone is having a good day ... I've just mowed my back field and have one more to do .. but it's so hot now, I think it will have to wait.  I could use that mowing mountie right about now.

    hugs,

    Bren

The mounties live around the corner from us.  Someone stole the police boat one night, right out of their yard....

I think blue is taking a break.  She's tired of being the mole in somebody's stupid game of 'Whack-a-Mole'.

    Good to see you all!

mfrog, your post made me chuckle. My son's wreck of a car (that we were hoping someone would steal) was getting stolen and the mountie jumps into the window they broke to bring the car back to us. I found all this out the next morning when he came over all busted-up and told us how they dragged him for 6 blocks.

We're moved! It's been horrible but at least it's over. I think I might have had a slight hoarding problem. NO more! I see that I certainly missed a lot of drama during the last 10 days. Good news is that I cannot be accused of stirring the pot. It had been a while since the last invasion so was probably about time.

My daughter, the chef, has been here helping. We had a few friends over Sat. night and she cooked peppers, corn, zucchini and yellow squash, and vidalia onions on the grill. Drizzled all with balsamic before cooking. Also, flank steak (marinated in balsamic and garlic), bratwurst, chicken sausages and pork tenderloins. Served all piled up on a big platter. Delicious and beautiful. Tonight we're having a big green salad with balsamic vinaigrette, blue cheese crumbles and left over flank steak slices.

And the trouble just keeps happening - PatMom decided to send me a PM slandering one of our friends - gotta love it - perhaps she'd be a lot happier on the "other site" where all her bitter friends hang out.  Now I'm going to eat some chocolate and calm down.

Change of plan, leftover beef stew as above but DH and I will share the stew and make grilled organic turkey and imported gouda cheese sandwiches. Oooh.

Sandy....I'm sorry you got that PM. I think some just live for the drama!

Barbara....your meals always sound so wonderful. Mine usually are just very basic meals. You must love to cook? It's almost 5:00 here and I have no idea what we will be having for dinner. Lol!

Sandy -- One of the great things about the Ignore button is that, not only do you not read the posts of the 'ignoree", but any pm from the ignoree will never reach you!

Linda is absolutely correct ... the ignore button has dramatically improved the quality of my reading experience on BCO.

I think that we have different definitions of the term slander.

You might want to take a peek at that "other site" and see what Bren posted on the Liberal Mind thread yesterday afternoon.  So sweet and supportive.

    Stop what?

I was accused of slandering a member of these boards, so I copied and pasted the "slander".

Am I supposed to sit quietly and allow a whole group of people to tell lies about me and not respond????

I know you wouldn't, so why do you expect anyone else to?

Y'all are welcome for dinner anytime! Not sure what PatMom is talking about cause the Bren I know does not post there.

So going to a party on the weekend and solicited cool dessert recipe ideas on my spirited and lively thread and GramE contributed ambrosia. Well I hate marshmallows and maraschino cherries so I am embarking on a journey to take ambrosia to a new level. Involved in limited testing now but results on Sunday.

Barbara - be sure to give us an update on the Ambrosia dish!  DH and Stepson won't get home until late tonight so I don't have to cook.  I was going to make something with pork chops but now have resigned to a PB&J sandwich - haven't had one of those in at least 6 months so it is very tasty.
