Caerus - To answer your question, yes, that is one way to lie, especially if one sock puppet praises the other so as to give the impression of "other-ness." Another is to mischaracterize a situation. So, for example, what if I praised myself under a different name and also said something like: "Kira and Enjoyful are plotting to grill Caerus and that is what this conversation is all about, and Caerus is realy asking about lying down on the grill."

The two lies would make things worse. Perhaps because I live in DC I am especially sensitive to mischaracterizations about situations. White lies, of course, are the most shocking. I just think I lost a heart beat. (And I'm not even religious, BTW).

Anyway, enjoy Sunday food and good weather to those who have it. Off to do some work. Foot in mouth

this is getting funny - my post reporting that I was reported was also reported.  Again, what rules did that last post break????

KInd of like A&C "Who's on first?"

Well, it didn't break any rules.  But, since there's no penalty for falsely reporting a post, expect more reportings!

Caerus .. you're on a roll today!  It's so silly reporting your posts.

PS .. I love Abbott and Costello!

I was going to make chicken but was voted down by the kids. I guess it will be a beef roast, mushrooms, summer squash, potatoes, and a salad.

I bought some sushi at Publix. I've never tried it, but from what I am reading it's supposed to be good for us. Will see what I think.Smile

I agree with Bren, and I've actually met Athena.  You're out-voted, NHC.  :-)

Talk about self deprecating, NHC, but good for a laugh.

I'm stress free not so sure about the DH. He's spent the last 4 hours trying to put together the new grill. Well putting together and avoiding the rain and the lightning. One bolt of lightning was way to close for my comfort level. Men can be so stubborn he's still out there.

OMG .. Kira .. he's still out there in the lightning!  He is very determined isn't he.  I would be scared too.  Lightning travels a very long distance.  I hope he's at least in the garage!

Oh my.  My ex used to run out and mow the lawn right before we had to leave for something, or have some event at our house.  They are, indeed, stubborn!

E .. you might be right.  I think women are wonderful.  We are complicated and lots of fun too!  And we aren't putting bbq's together in a thunderstorm.  Geez .. I hope Kira's DH is okay.

Exactly!  Man playing golf in a thunderstorm = nuts.  Woman applying makeup while driving = environmental maintenance.

You understand exactly what I'm saying Enjoyful.  We know exactly what we're doing!  Can't get struck by lightning while putting make up on in the car!

A while back I got pulled over for speeding.  The officer kindly pointed out to me, that had I not been looking in the mirror and putting lipstick on, I would have saw him and slowed down. That pissed me off more than the ticket! Yell
