When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.
And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.
And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be. -
That made me cry.
-
it's beautiful, isn't it

I just cruised the Internet on a couple of sites and they all seem to say the same thing, that Paul McCartney wrote about his mother Mary (who died of cancer when he was 14) after having a dream about her and that she told him to let it be, everything would be okay.
-
Wow that 's tearful----------badjer I'd like to do a c&p to the prayer page I can do it without your name or leave your name on it. Tell me what to do? Either way is ducky.
-
Wow, really? That's amazing.
-
agreed, that IS amazing, and powerful - thanks!
SAS I C&P those lyrics off the internet so please credit McCartney not badger

Well when I C&p to the prayer page I always put whomever the prayer was from or the originator. For example their is an amazing prayer for Waldo Emerson------SOMETHINgs wrong with that . but the bottomline is it would read your name first and dat then from paul mcartney with the story that he wrote it about his mom . The key is if you want your name involved as the source for getting it to the board. if not i won't mention it
-
well SAS it was from me to you in response to your post so go ahead, I don't mind.
-
Paul Mccartney's mother died from breast cancer in 1956.....
I'm understanding that song even more.

Sagina ------------------oh my we have two --ST THERESE WHOSE MOM DIED OF bc AFTER HAVING 10 CHILDREN AND PAUL WHO WROTE SUCH AWONDERFUL SONG IN HER MEMORY
