Bonfire of the Goddesses

I have a nice pat of sweet cream butter left from greasing the baking pan, would that help de-stick things? Just have to make sure it doesn't get too close to the fire and burn. Although browned butter sauce is wonderful with fish, it's not a good body lotion!
-
Sheila - I am reaching down to grab your hand and pull you out of that pity pot. If Annette grabs your ankle, I can get both of you out of there.
-
Good lord Jo ------okay you will become our wonderwoman if you can do this. Badger slip that butter in on one side and i'll pour the macadamian nut oil on the other side. One - two-- three
-
Maybe someone can volunteer to help pull them up while others are pouring on the oil to get them loose.
-
OK ... I can also lend a hand up. They're washed now so not greasy.
edit to add: no matter how long this takes, we are in it for the long haul.
-
Ok before we leave the Doctor jokes, I have to add that Doctors are just people. PHD stands for Piled Higher and Deeper
-
Why is it that doctors "practice" medicine? I don't want a doctor to practice on ME!!!
-
Oh...SAS! Today the bonfire is dedicated in honor of YOU and your beloved Greg! We're all thinking of you and hope the day passes well for you!
-
be careful you don't fall in jo....i do not like this pity pot...although the only good thing aboutme being really bummed out is i finally made it to 126- hahah it is funny- normally when stressed I eat a ton of junk- i have to be REALLY crazed to lose my appetitite...i mean it...i am a stress eater unless I am really stressed...but loggin on here and talking with you bubs makes me feel better
everyone have a good friday
-
Tossing in side effect pamphlets, & needles...poof!
-
-
annette - No way I am going to fall in. If I need to I will get some of the other gals to help me get you out of there.
merilee - Love the picture - it speaks volumes by itself.
-
Merilee, love it too, the Phoenix, rising from the ashes.
I would like to toss certain political figures into the bonfire but will not mention any names.
With all the hot air, inflamed passions and burnt bridges, it'll stay toasty for a long time..
-
hi back from dinner
-
hi SAS, what did you have?
-
Okay couldn't peg it , but now I get it , as a pheonix. It is beuatiful. should be reserved as a back up for the Goddess.
Had a great day with one glich. Otherwise. Good, I have apparently 2000 post's on Bco . Made my first person smokin mad by a post ---too bad my fault, time will tell if she lets her anger go.If she doesn't nothing I can do about it. Oh well-------------- Alll anger into the fire. Also throwing into the fire aperson from a friends long past that took something that was very positive and made it a negative---------------------zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
Carbonerra that actually had strips of bacon in it.
-
I dislike it when the page turns , you don't know if someonelse notices or not.
Did we get merilee and annette out of the pity pot
-
mmmmm bacon
not sure if they're out or in the pot still
-
I have a nice glass of white wine that I'm sipping tonight.
It would go well with carbonara I think.
-
Hi i'm back
-
I'm still here :-)
-
scotch and soda , mud in your eye, oh me oh my , do i feel high
SONG IS____________________-
DUh scotch and soda ------------i'm drinking gin and water
-
badger --------------so where your at do they have badger dams and wind farms
-
IDK that song but do like scotch, with just a splash of water though
gin & tonic with lime is good too, nice summer drink
-
SAS the badger state nickname comes from lead miners who dug holes and lived underground
Haven't seen a live badger... just Bucky Badger at football games LOL
There is a wind farm in southwest WI that is owned by FPL, Florida power & light
-
I'm in florida before wind farms were a consideration I tried to get a wind thing. kept googling and it brought up wind maps. WI, and MI have the highest wind map ratings . where I'm at in fl. is a dud. I was deflated LOL
-
LOL I'm surprised Wyoming isn't the highest - that is a windy state
It's also home of the Wind River (mountain) Range
-
BADger FP&L owns a wind farm in WI. WElL that goes to show yah. I wasn't far off in thinking wind energy was in the future, but suggest that WI protect there resources and not allow the sale of there land to outside resources. You have the greatest wind resource in the country !!!! Guess that why FP&L bought it up. your legislature should protect you all. It can be done they did it in Canada
-
Wyoming is very windy. We lived in Cheyene for 3 1/2 years while stationed in the Air Force and I never saw it snow straight down - always at an angle. We had a saying when we lived there - Utah blows and Nebraska sucks - with Wyoming in between that is why it is so windy. LOL
