Meece, God is so good. Yes, dear, you are a threat to the evil one because of your willingness to express your love of HIm and be such a witness to others. I'm so happy for all of you. Yes, I understand about having to keep him overnight, someone has to do it
Today, my little granddaughter had a ballet recital and I held little Jacob through the whole thing. He is such a sweetheart. Tomorrow, I will have everyone here for Father's day. I plan to love on little Jacob some more. God is so very good all the time. -
faithandfifty - I've heard of kangaroo pouching too, but did not know the specifics about all it could accomplish. So interesting. I love learning something new!
-
Sometimes, sometimes...I LOVE it when Satan thinks he's tempting me. Like, really? That's your best shot???? My faith is so strong and deep that I don't think he has a chance! But I do stay on my toes, he's a sneaky, snaky little bugger, isn't he???
-
You're so right Barbe! Good thing we serve a great and mighty God, I just have to make sure I remember that when things seem to be tough!
Faith~I have never heard of kangaroo pouching, it does sound like fun duty!
Meece ~ I so glad that everything has calmed down.
Faithroad ~ I love the name of your city! I can so relate to it...

So frustrating. I have been trying to log on for three hours now so I can upload some pics! Finally!!!

He's smiling 'cuz Grandma loves him so much!
-
Grandpa loves him so much, too!

This is grandma and "Patch". Grandma was living on adrenaline having been awake for 27 hours already.

-
He has star-power

-
Too sweet!!! LOving the pictures...he's a BIG boy. No "newborn" clothes or diapers for him!!! My DD was 8 lbs 13 oz too....
-
Oh Meece he is indeed a star. You grandmas are so lucky.
-
Thank you. Terrible internet connection. Can't wait to get home.
-
Mum, will you be a grandma soon???? Are they like my kids? Lived together, but when they wanted kids they got married?
-

Bittersweet last goodbyes this morning.
-

Here we go again. (Must be on Thursday of my "Day of the Week" big girl panties by now). Drew just called. Sheriffs showed up thrity minutes ago. Gave them 5 minutes to evacuate. And I am not there to help. Luckily we had not put everything back away yet, but they were unable to take their dogs who are now loose within their gated property. I know it was killing him to have rto leave them. He said he just took a few more pics and they left. May this just be one more overly cautious step, and not the eminent danger they were given to believe.

Prayers Meece.
-
Meece, your pics are fabulous. That is one of the greatest moments of life. Prayers for the family and the doggie babies.
-
This is the last message I found on the evacuation info:
"Evacuees should take medications, important papers, money, and enough personal items to sustain them for at least several days, authorities said. "
Drew is supposed to call me at 4:00.
-
Meece....Thinking of you and the family.
Do they have a place to go?
Baby Patrick is so squeezably handsome♥
-
Prayers coming from Massachusetts.
-
They are staying with friends. Can't go back and get the big doggies, and the place where the little ones were sheltered is now being evacuated. The horses are far enough away they shouldn't be affected at all.
-
You are my prayer warriors, thank you so much!
-
Prayers coming from KY.
-
Thank you!
-
94 families have lost their homes so far since this fire started one week ago.
-
Im so sorry Meece.
I hope they get good news the next few days.
It's not the perfect scenario after giving birth but Thank God they are safe.
I think you need some sleep for yourself Meece
Hugs to the entire family♥
-

Popped into BCO and decided to do something a little different like visit a thread I never or rarely come to...like here. I should come here everyday
The beautiful garden here is more than the lovely flowers posted. You ladies are the beautiful garden. Your love, care and kindness to one another is awesome. In the earlier post I enjoyed reading the words to some of my favorite songs. It was so refreshing.
Thanks, evebarry

I think it is time for a song, but off hand I do not have one. (I just woke up)...oh...
I think God gives me inspiration just when I need it. God is good all the time, all the time, God is good!
Onward Christian Solders
1. Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
with the cross of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
forward into battle see his banners go!
Refrain:
Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
with the cross of Jesus going on before.2. At the sign of triumph Satan's host doth flee;
on then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
(Refrain)3. Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, all one body we,
one in hope and doctrine, one in charity.
(Refrain)4. Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,
but the church of Jesus constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never gainst that church prevail;
we have Christ's own promise, and that cannot fail.
(Refrain)5. Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,
blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.
Glory, laud, and honor unto Christ the King,
this through countless ages men and angels sing.
