My mom has IBC very bad covering her whole chest and part of her back. She started chemo this week and her rash is really bothering her. It is extremely hot and painful for her right now. We have been putting Aloe vera on her and was wondering if any of you can recommend something better. Thank you!!

I can say that I did not try Aloe Vera for my rash. I did take benadryl and use tea tree oil. The chemo will greatly reduce it for you. Honest you will see it in the next week or so. I wish your mother the best.

I hope that the chemo kicks in quickly.  Aloe Vera is quite good but it should be the pure Aloe Vera, not with any additives or perfumes.   When I had bad radiation burns they recommended Lubriderm which is 100% lanolin and is soothing to the skin.  It is pretty miserable anyway and hope your mum can get some relief soon.  Maybe the medical team can recommend something.

    Best wishes. Kathy

when I had radiation burns, I used Sylvadine cream. Worked great for me. I also ran around the house with no top on.
