Girls,
I can feel all the prayers and thoughts. We are now home. We came home last night, and he's been sleeping all day. The whole thing has really wiped him out. The boys are doing very well considering. Two nights ago, my 10 yr old was staying with friends who are about 10 minutes from the hospital. He called me crying at 8 pm wanting to come and see us, so I went and got him and brought him back to the hospital and it really made him feel a lot better.
It's so good to be home.
Hugs

Bobbie, I am so sorry for all the upheaval and uncertainty you and your family have had. I, too, light a candle for your family and ask for an extra measure of courage and reassurance for your sons. Reading about your 10 yr. old's nighttime call brought tears to my eyes.

GIrls,
Your posts bring tears to my eyes! Dave was up watching the Open over the weekend, and he sure got a kick out of watching Rory McIlroy decimate the rest of the field. It was good to see him enjoying himself.
Hugs to you all,
Bobbie -
Hi Bobbie,
Tell your hubby one of your BC sistahs lives just north of Congressional where they had the US Open this year. My hubby is a police officer and was assigned a securit detail there. A good friend of ours (also a PO) was assigned to escort McIroy. How lucky was that? Actually the last time it was here in DC my DH got to escort Ernie Els the eventual winner that year. Cool stuff, and glad he's enjoying himself!
Take care,Sharon
