    I'm so glad you posted that you have recommendations in Michigan for aureole scar tattoos. please send your options so i may interview and choose an artist for my corrections.

    I was told  a year by my surgeon. It's been 2 1/2 for me now!! Just keep finding other things to spend money on.....

    Finally, the closet tattoo junkie that I am is slowly coming out of that closet.  Got my "Steel Magnolia" tat. yesterday.   It is on my right thigh and when I wear actual shorts you can see some of it (it is 7 1/2 inches long).  It is a magnolia blossom ( Southern gal here) with leaves, the stem is celtic knotwork and underneath the blossom is a ribbon of barbed wire with the wire strand continuing down the stem.  It is awesome.  The tat artist took what I told him I wanted and created his interpretation and it is perfect, perfect, perfect.  "There was a will of steel beneath the soft magnolia exterior....."  from The Road to Gandolfo by Robert Ludlum.
