Meece, you have them. May all go well.

Father,
We all lift our hands in praise, to you, the Maker & Ruler of all things.
Right now, a new life is struggling to make his or her way out into your big, beautiful world. Please guide the doctors & nurses in the room working as we speak. Give Mom & Dad a measure of your peace, as well as grandparents
. And mostly God, we entrust Baby Boo to you. Deliver Baby safely & may he or she feel your comfort as the big scary birth is underway. Your will be done. Amen
-
Amen Joni. Grandbabies make all we've gone through so worth it. I can hardly wait each week to see my little Jacob the next weekend. Meece, I'm soooo excited for you.
-
Thank you ladies. We are so scared. Beth's BP has been up to 180/110. They have started the epidural and have her on Oxycontin, the labor is being pushed with pitocin and as per the most recent text, they are optimistic about her BP.
-
They have Beth's BP under control but have decided to to an emergency C-section. mama is being prepped and Daddy is wearing a funky outfit for the operating room.
Dearest Heavenly father, please guide the physician and medical team as baby Boo makes an entrance into this world. Be with Beth as she goes through this procedure and protect both mother and baby. Be with Drew as he stands as a comfort to his wife. Thank you for the wonderous blessing of new life. Amen.
-
Amen.

In Jesus name Amen!

Just found this thread...CONGRATS Meece!!
-
Patrick is a handsome big boy Meece-congratulations to everyone! God is so good!
-
They have not been able to hold him because his lungs are not fully inflated and they have taken x-rays to check for fluid in his lungs. Waiting for pediatrician to arrive.

-
Welcome, pejkug. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your call tonight, Joni. It was just what I needed.
-
I just saw where Elizabeth, KK has gone to be with our Father. God does keep the circle of life going according to His plan.
-
Crying sad and happy tears all at once.
Praise the Lord for the safe delivery of Patrick and Elizabeth!!
Handsome grandson!!!
-
Thank you Grace, your words about the Lord delivering Elizabeth finally broke my pain and allowed me to cry. I know she didn't 'believe' in God, but how surprised is she now??? Ursula and Chloe would have met her at the Rainbow Bridge and Jesus would have welcomed her into His garden. I know He is a forgiving God, how He must love greeting those who were't too sure....
-
Meece, I am sure you feel blessed beyond words!!! Patrick is a hulking boy! What a glorious face and look at that fuzzy hair!! I pray they have resolved the lung issue and he is being held by Mom and Dad before his grandparents arrive and whip him away!!! Please keep us posted. With love,
-
This was in the last PM I recieved from KK 3 weeks ago:
"And thank-you very much for you prayers. They're a beautiful thing coming from you. Hugs,
Elizabeth"
I felt encouraged by those words, that her heart wasn't closed.
-
Her heart wasn't closed, her head was just slightly open...
-
Congrats Meece
-
A picture for Meece to get a chuckle about! The men had just finished counting the offering and Matt was being his usual jovial self! Found this picture yesterda and just had to laugh!! The other young man had no clue, I don't think!
-
It is so good to see Matt. I feel like I've missed do much in the past two years.
-
The thing about that picture reminds me of how we met you here, Grace & within just a few weeks, Matt was back in the Lord's arms with the love of you & DH holding him up, while poor MomMeece was stateside praying her little ol heart out! God is good.
I didn't know KonaKat very well, but I hope she was able to remedy her situation prior to being called.
Everyone have a blessed day & Meece you 2 drive careful through the night tonight!
-
CONGRATULATIONS Meece!!! What a beautiful baby boy! Continued prayers for Patrick and his mom.
I didn't know Elizabeth (KK) and I am sorry for the loss of your friend and a fellow sister. Babe1958 ~I love your comment "Her heart wasn't closed, her head was just slightly open..." My family has recently lost a cousin (hit by a van on her morning run) and a week later an uncle. We know for sure that Jackie knew and loved the Lord, but not 100% sure about my uncle. I keep thinking about the scripture about not judging a "man's" heart and I think part of it is for us so that we don't go crazy fretting over our loved ones who have passed. Their heart condition really is between them and God! Anyhow, I'm not sure if I'm coming across clearly but, like you, Grace's words touched my heart! (((hugs)))
-
Oh Meece, I got home a bit early today and immediately went to see if baby boo was born. Congratulations on "little" Patrick. He's a big boy. Prayers that all is well and will continue to go well. Can't wait til you can hold him the first time.
-
kcl65 I love your post about us not knowing and really, it is not up to us, it is between that person and God. Our job is to be sure they know and then they make a decision. When my dad was dying and went into hospice, I asked him if he had is affairs in order with God. He said he did. He was the warden of Louisiana State Pennitentary for 8 years, a clinical psychologist and an ordained minister. Dad said, yes. His death was peaceful with no struggle (7 years ago). I have learned that if I get in the middle of what God is trying to do and what I think I'm supposed to be doing, I may very well be getting in the way.
I have a son in Ecuador doing field research for his Ph.D. He knew and followed God until he went to college the first time. My prayer for him recently is that in the simplicity of those indigient tribes he is working with, he will find God again. I leave it up to God how that will happen and I am to be faithful to pray for him. I'm actually excited to see how God will do this.
-
Meece,
Congratulations!!! Awwwww.....so cute!!!! Thinking of your family and praying for a quick and healthy recovery for mom and full healthy development for the little man Patrick! He is so loved!Sending hugs to sisters here, for the loss of your friend. May God embrace KK's family with his peace and comfort, and hold them close to His heart.
