Our stats are similar. I had 4 DD AC. 12 weekly taxol and 36 rounds of rads. My last chemo was Aug. 10 and my last rad was Nov. 15...I have a full head of hair now and it is about 3" long! Good luck with your treatments, they will go quicker than you think. And congrats on the nod. negative, I remember getting that same news and being over the moon! If you have any questions feel free to PM me. take care, Angi

That's wonderful to hear! Chemo won't be easy, but the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight. Yay!

congrats - and what a great idea on the part of your doctors office, to pair you up with a mentor! When I was dealing with treatment I sure could have used one, I felt like I was the only young person who got TNBC - never met another person with it in support groups, real life, only here. It was very lonely feeling that no one knew what I was going through.

Hi I was diagnoised with BC had a partcial mastectomy and node removed...when I had my follow up meeting at the cancer clinic they said I had triple negative cancer, stage one breast cancer and no cancer cells present in the nodes...this is all a shock to me and still have lots of questions....I was told that having chemo would reduce the risk of having the cancer return not only in my breast but in my body...I have opt to go for the chemo...I have had bloods test, am going for a bone scan on thursday and am schedule to go for a catscan then I see the cancer doctor again...its been a rollercoaster of emotions as I am ignorant of this type of cancer and people who I know that are survivors had a different type....I am hoping to get some support and to offer support as I go Thank you.
