Thinking Out Loud.....

Our cake
Cake found online
-
Okay - one more thing and I'll leave you all alone on this cake thing -
I've never made a Bundt cake before. Mine came out looking like a giant donut (as you can see from the picture - lol). What did I do wrong? Did I need more cake batter? Did I use too big a pan? I thought they were standard size - but I must have done something wrong. Not domestically inclined at all.
-
You cake looks good to me Chris! And my son gives me the same looks when I check the online grading system. Always 0's! I am SOOOOOOO happy they did not have that when I was in high school!
-
I have all the LOTR's DVD's.
Probably no flea market tomorrow, it's suppose to rain again.
-
My DH does too. Loves those DVDs.
Listening to P!nk really loud and enjoying some dessert. We have a 65 inch TV and this is the only thing I truly love to watch on it! It's like being at a concert.
-
I think those kids probably suffered some hearing loss today with the loud movies.
I've been listening to Lady Gaga lately. I love the song Judas. I love the dancing they do to it. Looks like a good workout, but I'm so slow-witted, I can't figure out all the moves. And I'm too fat to move fast enough to do them -LOL! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jllBU1SIEUg (they skip a verse in this version I think - time constraint probably.)
-
Just keep dancing to Judas, even if you don't know the moves. It's fun and youburn calories!
-
Another COLD rainy day
-
No rain here....yet.
Soccer tryouts and semi finals today. Hope it doesn't rain!
-
It stopped raining it's more like a drizzle. But cold. Bundle up for the games.
-
No rain here, they are going to bb game and I am going to dinner with my dil at her grandmother's house. I have to go get the police report but who knows if it is there or not....haven't heard anything about it and honest they were rude, if I had allstate I would drop them, my son asked Michael what he was doing and he said he didn't have a choice but that means 730 - noon 4 days a week from 6/27 through July and he is staying at my daughter's house all summer she has 2 kids and I don't have a car and there is no busing so how is he getting there.....again oh well he should have gone to school and when he went he should have done the work AND not cursed out the teachers...I graduated from high school and so did my 3 older kids.....
Have a good day ladies!!! I treasure you....oh and got the report from the scan and there is progression in both lungs new nodules and the lumph nodes have gotten bigger, the liver and the mass on my chest wall is the same....am going to google it... it says
bilateral pulmonary nodules are detailed in the report
pleuran mets with interval progression when compared to prior study
relatively stable right retropectoral enhancing mass
interval prgression of mediastinal and hilar adelnopathy, which is what I think I wrote above, lol

Sandy, what is the plan? Are they going to have you stay on Xeloda?
-
(((Sandy)))
-
Mamo tomorrow @2:45 then follow up. Taking the day off.
-
Good luck with the mammo Deb.....Didn't go on Xeloda yet, was supposed to get the 8th injection of falsodex on wednesday but that is cancelled cause obviously it isn't working....
Hugs back thanks friends!!!
-
Good luck Deb!
Sandy, I hope they find something new that will work NOW!!
-
((((((((((Sandy))))))))))) Hope the next treatment brings it to its knees. F-ing cancer.
Hopefully, M has learned an important lesson - sometimes we have to learn the hard way. As much as parents warn them of what will happen, they just don't listen - have to find out for themselves. Time for him to pick himself up and dust himself off and get back to the business of finishing high school. I hope he does well this summer. ((((((((Michael))))))))
Now to get that police report. Hope they have it for you so you can get stupid Allstate to provide the coverage they have given the offender and fix your car that she damaged. I used to have Allstate a while back - agent left the company and in the interim when I needed to make changes to my policy, I couldn't get service - so I left. It's too bad to hear they haven't changed their ways in all this time.
Good luck with the mammo, Deb. Got your many-pocketed pants on today so we can all jump in?
Thought I heard my furnace make a weird noise last night when it turned on. Now I have to turn up the heat to try to make it turn on so I can hear if it makes that noise again. Nothing but problems with this stupid thing.
(((((((((Everyone)))))))))))
-
Good Morning.
It's a sin to pur you heat on in June in New England. LOL. At least its cold enough to need heat!
-
Well, it didn't make the noise I heard so I don't know what is going on. I'll just have to "happen" to hear it again at some point or wait for the thing to stop working to find out if there is a problem. After last week's heat, I'm trying not to complain about the cold. Why can't it just be comfortable?
-
I'm looking forward to a little heat. My first floor AC unit died so we are waiting for the new one to come on. Hope it doesn't get muggy!
-
The weather is still sort of mild, but the AC sure did feel nice after coming in from gardening in the sun yesterday.
-
Sheila, where are you?? We miss you!
Sounds nice Meece!
-
Gardening is a great stress relief. I am out in my garden as much as possible.
Leaving at 2 for my mam. Why do I get butterflies in my stomach?
-
We all do Deb. Good luck! I'll be thinking of you!
-
BACK!!! Mammo was good, see them in 1 year.
-
Wonderful Deb
-
YAY!!
-
SHEILA????
-
Yay, Deb! Doing the happy dance!
