Never got into American Idol, but, DH and I have been enjoying this show

OK I started watching the show.

I have no idea what's going on.

OK this is what I'm understanding.

There are 3 or 4 judges each taking 4 contestants under their wings.

Who is that cute guy with cowboy hat Is he under Christina's wing?

It might take me couple of weeks to get into the show but I can like this show

I DVR'ed it and only watch the singing parts.

Watched just a couple of episodes when they were choosing teams and tonight was the first night I have been able to check out the different teams!

I missed the beginning and have only caught the last 1/2 hour or so.... Will say this.... Beverly.... W....O.... W.... So good.....

Melissa Etheridge's voice, especially with that song, is so well known that you better do it well or not at all!! I think Beverly did it well!!!

Will take sometime to get familiar with the contestants!!!  So hopefully you all that have been watching are patient!
