Yes, really, Sandymess. Everyone is different of course, but for me AIs were TOTALLY HORRIBLE. I got to go off the one I was last on (Arimidex) -- um it's about 3 weeks ago and not only have I been feeling more and more human (too bad I don't LOOK it!), and not only have I not been feeling like a crippled old lady, but today my brain was actually SHINING -- to the point where I was thinking that maybe I might have gotten a few more of my marbles back!

I happen to know that my oncologist would like to put me back on Aromasin, since although the SEs were equally awful on all of 'em, the Aromasin kept me stable the longest (I even had regression on it once) -- but I'm not gonna do it. I am DONE -- no more AIs, no more chemo. The extra "life" I got from both of those -- and I do know they DID buy me some time, but it was NOT freakin' WORTH living! I've never been dead before, but I'm sure it's gotta be light years better than the way I felt on any of those treatments! Eeeesh! Some things I just don't understand about some people, but that's another post.

Weather's still nice enough here in NH, though. :-) Heck, as long as it isn't WINTER, it's usually nice enough.
