Anyone emotional or have mood swings with herceptin.

I was wondering if anyone else gets kind of emotional or moody in the days after herceptin. I feel a bit like PMS , want to cry easily , get mad easily. Wondering if it is herceptin, stress or the body deciding it needs to cycle emotionally even without getting periods! Lol

    The only time I got real emotional was towards my last tx.I had no side effects,or mood swings.I bet it isn't from herceptin,but this dang C thing we have to deal with.

    Anna is right, I believe it is the stress of everything else. Yes, I do have mood swings, I was a total nut there for a while but thanks to ativan and zoloft, my mood swings seem to be far and few between... At least this month anyway:) I hope you start feeling better soon!

    Have you tried anything to help with the mood swings?

    Funny how sometimes we miss the obvious. The anniversary of my son's death is approaching. Every other year I recognize this date in advance and make note of how it affects me and I am somewhat prepared. This is the first year I have been distracted by my cancer diagnosis and perhaps missed the nomal cues I have leading up to the date. My emotions are not crazy out if control, just a little less co tropes then normal. I'm not usually much of a crier, so when something out of the blue makes me feel like I might cry I stop and wonder why. :)). Thanks fir your help

    Hi Christine - I haven't found that I get mood swings.  Usually Herceptin really wipes me out for a day or two after tx though and ofcourse I have the aches and pains which can get to be a bit much sometimes.
