5 year cancerversary
5 years ago today I heard the words..."you have breast cancer". I was dx with IDC,Stage 2,Grade 2 and I was sooo scared. So here it is 5 years later (which is hard to believe) and bc.org is the reason I have come this far with a sound mind. God bless all of you,my bc sisters.Hang on to the friendships you make here..they last a lifetime!

Congrats, Candie1971 !!! In 12 days I will be cancer-free for 5 years also!!
I had stage 1, grade 3 IDC. Had a single mastectomy, chemo, put on Tamoxifen (which I am supposed to stop in Jan). Had delayed reconstruction 1 1/2 years after mast.. Kinda scared to stop the tamoxifen, though.
