Age 50 at diagnosis, Jan 2011. No family history. BRCA negative.

Age 52 at diagnosis. Genetic testing was negative. (Sister diagnosed at 54 but ER/PR+.)

Age 45 at diagnosis. No family history and BRCA status unknown because I did not "qualify" for genetic testing under our provincial government guidelines.

Age 44 at diagnosis. BRCA 1 negative and BRCA 2 "variant of unknown significance".

41 at diagnosis. BRCA1 positive.

I was 44 at dx. Just a month before I turned 45.
BRCA1- BRCA2 some kind of varient but not known to be related to cancer.

Dx at 64, benign ovarian cysts at 62, hysterectomy at 30 (stage 4 PAP)

I was 54 at Dx, Stage 3c.

I was diagnosed just after my 46th birthday. The cancer was BASAL triple neg. I was also found to have a BRCA1 mutation of 'unknown significance'. I have a cluster of BRCA1 type cancers on mums side - ovarian, breast and pancreatic cancer.

I am 60, diagnosed in April, bilateral mastectomy in May, Chemo starts in June. Low risk for BRCA1-2 according to genetic counselor.

Diagnosed at 41 in September 2010 after clear mammo in April 2010. Had VERY dense breasts. Neoadjuvant chemo proved cancer was resistant, so probably basal-type. BRCA negative. Was the first family member with breast cancer - maternal aunt diagnosed with a small ER+ (Stage 1a) a few months after me.

Hello Everyone,
I was two months away from my sixty-third birthday when I was diagnosed with a very large tumour in 2005. It seemed to come from nowhere.I have been in the clear for nearly six years.
There is another thread about TNBCs, Not a Typical Triple Negative. You will find older women like me there.

Dx at age 40. Had surgery on Friday.

Dx September 2010 at age 47. Just completed chemo and radiation therapy. No family history of breast cancer. I went for a mammogram at the urging of a work collegue who's husband was dying from prostrate cancer. So glad I was at this coffee break at work.
