Need Specialist in ILC

Just diagonised with ILC and since it is only 10% of all BC It was suggested that I find an oncologist that specializes in ILC and if needed to travel there for a consult. Does anyone know of an expert in ILC? Would prefer Colorado but will travel.

    Chava ~ ILC is less common than IDC, but certainly not rare.  Many of us here on BCO have been diagnosed with it.

    Here is a list of the NCI-designated cancer centers.  These are some of the very best facilities in the US, including the University of Colorado at Denver.  Any of these facilities will be well versed in the unique characteristics of ILC vs. IDC:   http://cancercenters.cancer.gov/cancer_centers/map-cancer-centers.html 

    I know there are several women on this discussion board from Colorado, and hopefully, some of them will see this thread.  If they don't, you might want to start a new thread asking for recommendations, but using Colorado or Denver in the title -- just so your location is more readily seen.

    I responded to your private message, but then saw this post.  I gave you the name of my oncologist in the post...he only treats breast cancer, so he is up on all the best treatments.  I included my phone number...please feel free to call me.
